We are Cava-sseurs and visit them frequently as we travel for sports meets all over the nation. Of all we've been to this one was sub par. The staff hurried everyone and spoke to each other instead of serving the customer. The food was quickly tossed in the bowl instead of being served carefully. In the end they even forgot to ask about sauces. While it was after 8 pm the same courtesy should be extended from morning til night. read more

Cava never disappoints. It is always clean and the service is quick, friendly, and responsive. I ordered the grain bowl with the saffron basmati rice, half chicken and half lamb. I received more lamb than chicken and was pretty hungry, so I asked for extra chicken. I added the extra fixings of tomatoes, cucumbers, hummus, broccoli and feta cheese. It was delicious! So I came here after my workout for the blind event 6-7-25. for a healthy option it's a nice layout and semi patio/extra seating outside from the entrance way to enjoy the breeze with your meal. It starts off a little slow here because I feel it's not many ppl working the front and it depends on what's ordered by each customer but they get you out the way pleasantly and everyone is happy. I got two bowl with chicken half rice half salad mix, tomato mix, roasted corn etc. pita strips hold well for what's in it. Crazy feta, harissa vinaigrette are my go-tos. The Strawberry Citrus Drink is liquid LOOOVE and citrus isn't overpowering at all. It's very refreshing!!! . LOOOVE that every food ingredient is flavorful, the mini pita needs some garlic in it or something it's super bland. It's currently 8:10, I just got an order from in store, and I noticed all the greens were empty. I asked the person who's making the bowls if they were out of mixed greens, and she said, "yeah we're outta greens, we're outta corn, and we're outta (something I didn't hear because I stopped paying attention as I saw something green behind her in the sink.)." I asked her, "what's that in the sink back there?" She said "that's romaine." I said, "I'll take romaine then." I ONLY came here because I wanted a SALAD. Cava o cava how I love thee. I love the greens/grain bowls with half chicken and veggies. The plethora of options for sauces and sides. The new addition of the RightRice is a winner too if you don't mind the up charge and limiting carbs. There are a crap ton of combinations for a full belly and a smile. I always get a heavy handed server which makes me happiest. You can order in advance and pick up at the drive thru. Today I ordered food and when I got to the cashier I asked for a fountain drink cup. When I asked for the drink a skinny young girl started staring at me and gave me a rude voice telling me to double click the cancel button. She stared me down the whole time and I asked her why she was mad, and she just kept acting very unprofessional and unfriendly, and made me feel intimidated. Then I called the store so I can speak to the manager and she may have picked up because when I called and started telling my story she hung up the phone on me immediately. CAVA remains one of the best fast casual options, and they've got locations ringing DC like the Beltway at this point. I stopped in because it was conveniently located near 50 and the actual Beltway. The menu at CAVA offers a great range of options for Mediterranean flavors. In response to the seemingly immortal question of where does the vegetarian get his protein, I ordered my usual bowl with half lentils and half greens for a base and got falafel, hummus, and crazy feta, among many other things. It's good stuff, and their spicy options are excellent as well, with harissa, hot peppers, and spicy dressings available at the end. This location has a drive through, which I might have utilized had I not realized that their app requires you to manually type in credit card info. Where do I start? I absolutely LOVE Cava from the first time I tried it earlier this year. I was at my sisters house putting together a computer table. She went to Cava and brought me lunch. Man wasn't it delicious . So now I eat it at least once a week with different ingredients. One thing I always make sure to have is my crazy feta and red pepper hummus.. Cava is one of my go-to places for a quick and healthy(ish?) lunch or dinner. The food quality and taste have been consistent for me and the harissa honey chicken is just...SO GOOD! This location has a drive-thru window for pick-up orders, so I'm interested in trying that next time as the inside can get pretty busy. read more

First AND last time coming here. I placed two orders on the app. When I went to pick up my order through the digital order drive thru, the employee that handed me my bag was NOT wearing a mask. Also, I ordered a bottle of the Mexicana Coke which I didn't receive. Instead, they placed a empty plastic cup on my bag. I tried calling and had to press 1 for curbside pickup in order to try and get through to someone and it rang and rang before going to a "voicemail box". I ordered via Uber Eats today. Everything was tasty and flavorful. I got the 1/2 supergreens/grains bowl 1/2 spicy lamb meatballs 1/2 braised lamb. I had a craving for lamb and I didn't want anything heavy and greasy. Everything seemed fresh in taste. I've had falafel bowl from the Tyson's location and wasn't a fan I prefer Roti for falafel. But I will get the lamb bowl again with rice I only got 2 meatballs so I'll probably stick to the braised lamb. I still have braised leftover. I will do pick up next time I don't think it travels well. The meat was cold by the time I received it. I've always loved Cava and although this was an extreme letdown, I might try them again due to this great response and this was my first bad experience out of several great ones. I'm extremely disappointed in how the customer service has gone down WAY down since the opening of this restaurant. Ambiance?!! What ambiance?!? It used to be a nice place where you could sit down in and enjoy your food and fellowship and go shopping in the other stores but now you hardly want to spend your money there much less enjoy your meal there! What makes it bad are the employees that treat you SO disrespectful. They sweep the floors while you are sitting there trying to eat your meal! Who does that?!? What other way could you tell me that my presence isn't welcomed! There is hardly ever a Manager on site (at least that's the lie they tell you when you ask to speak to a Manager). On several occasions I have witnessed the difference in how they treat a hispanic/latino customer in front of me vs me or another black customer. And then have to watch the exact same reaction from that person to me. They see it too!! For this reason when I go trust and believe I'm always watching!! When I walk in the door I ALWAYS speak to everyone the same from the lettuce station to the cash register. Not because I have to but just because that's who I am. A nice little old lady!! I've witnessed on more than one occasion how they service a male customer vs someone else or as I stated earlier them vs. us. They never have to ask them to please add more rice or more chicken or more anything! I've had to say to them please prepare my bowl the same as you have prepared his/her bowl speaking of the person in front of me!! It's ridiculously unnecessary!! I actually stopped going for a while because of this! I also stopped because of how the servers on the frontline ALWAYS seem to have an assitude for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Literally!!! My money spends just like theirs does and its not right that every time I go into the store I have to be treated in this manner!
