My husband and I along with our friends went wine tasting in Southern France. We read about Cave d Eymet in the charming town of Eymet and decided to give it a try. I can't say enough wonderful things about this experience. Mitch was such an amazing lady with an abundance of knowledge about wines and wine tastings. We actually ended up booking two wine tastings with her. One was for local and regional wines and the other was for wines around the world. Mitch speaks English and has a delightful sense of humor. This was by far our favorite tasting experience. And as an added bonus...her dogs are adorable! We had an absolutely fabulous evening each time we were there. I advise calling ahead for a reservation so she can give you the absolute best experience. This is a must do when in the area! read more

During our month long stay in southwest France we toured several wineries and tasting rooms. Cave d' Eymet was our best and most educational tasting and wine experience. Mitch, the owner, gave us two separate night tastings, first taking us through the region and then around the world. Her expertise was enlightening and educational. With her humor and knowledge we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend anyone interested in wine make an appointment and enjoy an evening with Mitch. read more

If you are looking for not just a wine tasting but a wine tasting experience, look no further than Cave d' Eymet. My wife and I and another couple were delighted to find Mitch the owner. Mitch not only speaks French but English as well. For a truly fantastic wine tasting make a reservation so Mitch can give you a local tasting or wines from around the world. The wealth of knowledge Mitch has was absolutely amazing. We all learned about wines and truly learned how to enjoy the taste of wines from Mitch. Some of the wines in her cave for sale, Mitch personally knew the wine producers or studied with them. With Mitch's knowledge and great personality you will enjoy a wine tasting experience that will last a life time. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Mitch O.
Having travelled the world from the age of 6, nine countries later, France is my home. Passionate about wine, I studied in Sauternes at Château La Tour Blanche for a year, before purchasing the Cave (wine shop) in 2005. Meanwhile, I continued my studies in Bordeaux University, as well as doing the WSET in London. The Cave is my passion, I know every bottle of wine intimately. There is always a bottle of wine open - ready for sharing.
