Taylhor Avant was my entree to Cavenaugh Hyundai, and she is fabulous. She made a next-day appointment for my new-to-me Hyundai Tucson [purchased through Carvana and not through Cavenaugh, mind you]. Lucky for me, I bought a fleet vehicle, which is typically a wise move, and also invested in the extended warranty (something husband has done the last many vehicles and which pays off in spades). THREE recalls had not been done on my vehicle, the third being ABS fuse kit installation and software! I mean, I know I am a girl and all, but sheesh! Brakes seem kind of important! Also, the cabin as well as air filters were disgusting; I do not believe they had EV-ER been changed. I am a lifelong asthmatic, so I changed those out yesterday, at full-cost to me. I doubt Silver Rock (warranty company) will reimburse me. There were many things wrong, but none that were surprising. This car obviously comes from a fleet that is not maintained, not sent out for recalls or basic service. Perhaps they just run their horses hard and put them away wet, because my beautiful car has NEGLECT written all over her: Yes, those three recalls, which are being taken care of as I type; the cabin filter cover which was missing; the fuel cap, which is defective; a bad engine oil cooler; needs new spark plugs; and 4 rotors that were slapped together and sent out (so brakes are more than simply recall). I don't believe I have ever encountered a dealership like this one! Their list is extensive, comprehensive, and understandable. And everything they pointed to needs to be accomplished. The downside? They were not IN-NETWORK, and there should be a $350 deductible. Even so, $350 is far less than the $1,522 estimate for all these repairs! We shall see how this all falls out. Taylhor is now calling Silver Rock and Carvana on my behalf and getting all of this taken care of. What is good to know when buying from Carvana is that their MO is apparently to get a car in, detail it and send it out the door, then dealing with these issues after-the-fact. So glad I did things right and got the extended warranty; so extremely grateful for people like Taylhor who CARE and have the ability to put that caring into action. I wish that I could give them a no star rating. They lied and took advantage of Me. I am disabled physically and somewhat mentally. I have had 5 back surgeries. I have to have a car seat that doesn't hurt My back. They told Me that I could try a Tucson out for three days. I wasn't sure when they started or ended. I called on a Saturday and told them that it was hurting My back. They said that it would be OK of I brought back on Monday and they would undo the deal. I took it back on Monday and they said that it was too late that I would have to pay for it. Don't buy from them. If you just have to have a Hyundai, go to Little rock. Tell everybody that you know to do the same. read more

I have purchased several new cars there and gave been treated quite well. Service has been very good. It has been completely remodeled recently to accommodate the new EV cars. Very impressive. Always treated respectfully. I believe that in the unlikely event there was a bad experience the general manager would resolve the issue. And let me dd, the selection of new models is vast and the inventory is improving as the chip shortage is coming to an end. I have no complaints but only praise. read more

We have been trying to get our car worked on, has been horrible to get a hold of anyone at the dealership due to the receptionist, Ann Bryant. She is very rude and unprofessional on the phone toward customers. Have been hung up on and put on hold for long periods of time. I would refer anyone to go to Cavenaugh Hyundai, but with the receptionist working there right now, she is going to end up making the business lose money. read more

l am a auto body repair facility in the Hot Springs area. I recently was called upon to repair a vehicle for this, After repairs were completed,and vehicle was delivered to the buyer,they have refused to pay my shop for said repairs! During the repair process,i contracted the COVID virus.This car was held up for nine days in my shop. Customer picked up her car without complaint! I can't believe a dealership of that size,needs the money so badly,that they would refuse to pay for the quality of work that I provided for them! It's been over two months, and they flat refuse to pay me! It's not the money, is the point of the matter. It appears to me I'll have to get it from them through the legal system!!!!! read more

When I bought my car, the salesman said he thought they were so successful because of the excellence of their service department. He is correct. They are always courteous, fair, and highly competent. Isaac always is very careful to make sure I feel comfortable and am happy with the results. Rarely do I use a dealer for repairs or maintenance, but this one is great. read more

I bought my 2012 Tucson here in 2016. A few days ago my car threw a rod & I needed a new engine. I had no warranty & no known recall. I was in a panic! Trent in Service was able to talk to Hyundai administration & they covered everything, including the loaner! I think Trent went above and beyond & am so thankful! read more

I wish I had read these reviews before I drove 3 hours round trip to go to Cavenaugh Hyundai. They had many cars posted on line with up to $6000 discounts. I printed the ads and when I got to the Dealership I talked to two salesmen on the sidewalk that told me there was no way to honor those and did not know what they were. Don't go to this dealership for car repairs! The service manager is a lair. He told us the loaner cars where being limited to 3 by the Hyundai Corporation. I have talked to Hyundai Customer Care Manager and he stated that it's the Dealership that determines the number of loaner. My dad's car that been recall for a new engineer has been there for about 7 weeks and he has been forced to borrow cars from friends. They now tell me he could get a rental car, but he would have a pay up front, then they would reimburse him. read more

We purchased a 2013 GMC Sierra from Cavanaugh and every extended warranty they suggested. With only 67775 miles on the truck the check engine light comes on. Cavanaugh suggests towing but the extended warranty will only cover towing up to $75. After towing to Cavanaugh they tell us engine is bad , they take truck to GMC dealer for warranty. A week later we are told the coils are bad, then are told the injectors are bad, ??? I immediately called GM, GM said this was covered by emissions warranty. GMC dealer would not honor their warranty. Cavanaugh wanted $800. for repair. I paid Cavanaugh $300. for diagnostics and towing, no repairs, went to Wal-Mart, bought a $3. can of injector cleaner. Now the truck runs perfectly. read more

I do not like car shopping mainly because of the dealerships and games you have to deal with. We have purchased many new/used cars and thus far Cavenaugh has been the best. I did not have a good experience with Hyundai in Hot Springs. My touch screen stopped working. It is out of warranty and they wanted to charge me $3000 to replace it. They agreed to update it and repair it that way. I waited and waited no one ever came and got me so I walked out to check on my car. It had been ready for 20 minutes and no one came to get me. They then proceeded to charge me $50 for the update and said it was repaired. I agreed to pay so I could leave. The touch screen wasn't repaired. They left flash drives in my car. Against my what I felt like doing, I returned $2000 worth of flash drives. No thank you. No refund nothing. I told the guy that I returned the flash drives to I bought my first and last Hyundai and he says I don't blame you. THANKS HYUNDAI FOR GREAt customer service. Never again. read more

We purchased a lease from Cavenaugh Hyundai in 2017 and every extended warranty available they suggested. Why do you need extended warranty on a lease? With only 500 miles on a new vehicle we had wiring problems that were not covered by warranty. After the repair totaling $300. plus, we were told we could not get our money back on the extended warranties. The warranty was there to cover cost for repairs,...??????????
