It seems to me that they could not give me a good explanation. I reheard and found out that the job ranged from $375 to $700. and some as little as $150. If your have repair work only, I would inquire what the cost per hour for labor. for that job and how long it would take. I wonder how many other customers that they did the same thing of over charging. There is only one reason they have no hourly rate, so they can charge any amount.

I asked if tech could come back to recheck it and he said they would charge 100 again for the visit. 20 minute job $100 and my parents would have to pay again because he said more than likely, a spider or roach crawled in right after the tech flushed it, because it's hot and their looking for water. Same story. I give the Cool Guys a call, leave a message and get a phone call back in less than 5 minutes of my message. Unfortunately they are also super busy and can't come until Tuesday morning. I have two elderly parents, one with a heart condition. I have two young children, one with a heart condition as well. We have pets. It's south Texas. Okay someone finally calls back and says they can come Sunday 9 am. Tech arrives, assesses the issue and promised to return the next day with a part. We call back Monday morning for a status update. Still no ETA, someone should be there by end of day. I've called 6 times today as of 7:30 pm and still no one can give me an actual answer. My mother has been waiting for two and a half hours in our house that has now reached 95 degrees, waiting for someone who may or may not call or show up! At this point I am very upset. I chose this company because they seemed legit, their name is Rescue and they have not come to our rescue. Horrible chain of communication! He did show up with the job start and made sure my requests were fulfilled. A few days later I went into the attic when completed. There was a nice thick and smooth "snowfall" over the entire attic. I was impressed. His son, who works for him, covered the catwalks too. That was okay since I knew where they are. I may clear them at a later time. It was like walking through a winter wonderland with all the white fluffiness. However, not great for making snow angels. LOL! Frank was the ONLY ONE who quickly reached out to me with an estimate after contacting three others. The others NEVER returned anything! Frank was busy since I did see his appointment book. It was a week later when two of his experienced employees arrived with a huge utility trailer. They were friendly, clean, and organized as well. The price of insulation has shot up. However, once it is done it is done. It will pay for itself in a short amount of time. Our house now feels like it is at a constant temperature throughout. I can't wait to see what any cold weather will be like. The attic is quieter as well. We only had 4-6" previously. Now, we are up to CODE REQUIREMENTS as Frank emphasis.
