Tanya, the new owner, has a broad and deep experience in the local wine industry, and her knowledge is without compare. She will honestly guide you to the best wine/value, or whatever your interest is. They have a tasting machine for several wines, which was under maintenance when I was there.

Downstairs foodhall expensive but again some gourmet stuff and a nice vibe. Warehouse food area is fair to middling prices mixed occasionally a good deal. Wine store is the star of the show. Extensive nz selection from all regions prices good. 5 food trucks in the car park still free for an hour plus whilst u wander on the premises. Loo for customers out of order not a good look. Used to be a solid 5 star and must do when in Welly. Slipped to a 4 minus. Recommended though.
