Not sure why they have "opening hours" posted when they close before the sign. I called twice at 8:46pm and 8:48pm to make sure they close at 9pm, but no one answered. I arrived at 8:52pm. The Open sign was lit up but as I was walking up I heard the lock switch. I politely knocked and saw a lady look through the glass toward the front door which indicated that she heard the knock. However, she didn't even have the courtesy to come say we're closed. Terrible customer service. They will never get my business again. read more

Do NOT buy anything from this store that you may need to return. They advertise that they only issue store credit for returns, but apparently, that's only for certain items. I asked the young lady the return policy and she told me that I could get store credit if I needed to return a hair dryer. My hair is still too short to use it so I tried to return it THE NEXT DAY and was told that you can't return "hot tools". I literally opened it to look at the size of the comb! I will not be shopping at this store again. They would rather receive a bad review and lose a customer over $35! read more

Why is zero stars not an option?! AVOID THIS PLAVE AT ALL COSTS! Worker operating the register ignored me standing in front of her to make a purchase, while she watched Netflix. I couldn't find the items I was looking for and went up and down the same isle 3-4 times searching, while wearing my clinical mask. The worker then told me to "stop walking around the store because of Covid" and never offered to help me find anything. To be fair I never asked for help, but that's because I was never greeted or acknowledged. If you have time, go elsewhere! I'm so happy we finally have a beauty supply with a variety of hair extensions and products on south side of Katy/Richmond.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to CC on Saturday to buy a wig for my mother. The salesperson was sweet and very helpful. We took a couple of options to the counter but decided to only purchase one. We didn't look at the wig as we were walking out because we thought we had been clear about which one we wanted. Fast forward to Sunday night, I take the wig out of the shopping bag and see that it's not the wig we wanted to purchase. We either ended up with someone else's item or there had been confusion behind the counter. I checked the receipt to see if we could return or exchange the wig and the receipt is incredibly confusing. As you can see in the picture, it says, "No return, no exchange for wigs, jewelry, hair care products, and electrical items". Well, that's ALL they sell. The second line then says, "All return & exchange within 7 calendar days & UNOPENED." We never opened the packaging, the wig was still all wrapped up and sealed just as it came so we stopped by today (Monday) to ask about their return policy. When I went in, the woman behind the counter was very rude and told me "No return, no exchange!" I explained the situation, that THEY had mistakenly given us the wrong wig and she just repeated, "No return, no exchange!" At this point, I didn't care I just wanted to buy the correct wig and get out of there. However, knowing we didn't need or want the wig I told her that she could keep it and we would just purchase the correct one. She started to get belligerent and loud, "No return, no exchange!" I again explained, "Ma'am, this wig is unopened and we don't want it. You can sell it to someone else or use it as a sample but we're never going to use it and we would just throw it away which is wasteful." She just kept yelling "No ma'am! Take it!" I was trying to be nice and this woman was so incredibly rude. After trying to explain several times that I didn't think the wig should go to waste, I got tired of repeating myself and chose to spend my money elsewhere. I left the wig in the bag right outside the store so I hope someone picked it up and got some use out of it. Long story short, if you're in the market for subpar wigs and horrible customer service, this is the place for you. Otherwise, save your money and go anywhere else. read more

This place has lost my business. The usual lady who works here is sweet and never bothers, but the lady working here today, Oct. 8 at 9:30 am is not good for business. I've been coming here for almost a year now, since it opened near me and I've never felt harassed or followed like I was today. She followed me around, kept asking me questions as if I didn't understand how to purchase from a beauty supply. The last straw was when she tried to take a wig I was looking at from me to show it to me herself as if I couldn't show it to myself or as if I was going to harm the wig. If I even pick up a wig, that means I am going to buy it. I do not try on in store; I look, find my color and I buy. I've been coming to this store since I've moved to Pecan Grove. Today was the worst day ever. I was stalked around the store. One of the workers took my item to the front and claimed that she was doing "inventory" but I later came to the front and asked the owner why was my item taking up to the front and she couldn't give me a reason. I've spent so much money there in the past and I will never go there again. I was racially profiled and I've never experienced that before. The owner told me to "shut-up" and get out.
