B&Q Sofa Delivery - Deeply Disappointed We purchased a sofa based on a strong recommendation and…read moreexpected reliable service from B&Q. Sadly, the delivery experience has been appalling. After receiving an email confirming delivery on the 17th, followed by one instructing us to have £40 in cash ready for the driver, my husband left work to ensure someone was home. Then we received a call from a courier saying the driver wouldn't reach us due to too many deliveries. He promised to call back--he never did. We waited until 11pm with no update and no sofa. We'd already given away our old one that morning, trusting the new would arrive. I've had to take another day off work just in case it comes today. Calls to customer service were cut off twice. No support. No accountability. Just stress and silence. We feel ignored, let down, and frankly shocked by the treatment received. I'm escalating this complaint and urging others to think twice before ordering from B&Q. Customers should never feel this unimportant.

I had two girls come and scrub the kitchen stove and counter, vacuum and mop, bathroom also needed scrubbing, and windows needed cleaning and remove all garbage. It was worth doing, the inventory clerk who did my check-out commented on how good the clean was and said I'll have no trouble getting my deposit back, which is great. Overall five stars.

The first thing you notice when they come to give you a quote is their dedication to the personal touch and desire for you to have the best possible kitchen for your budget. They have a huge range of woods and colours and styles to suit taste and really can work wonders with very little room - I have an extrmeely small box kitchen but far more space now. Their kitchens are crafted to a very igh standard - individually made upon request and unlike D.I.Y stores these really are made to measure - cost wise it was no dearer than B & Q charged with the assurance that the quote given would not be increased. The tradesman that fitted the kitchen was prompt, fun, happy in his work and really worked hard - a full days work every day bar Sunday until the job was finished. You pay a deposit upfront and the rest upon satisfied completion , the manager comes and inspects the work before final payment is made. I phoned them at the end of last year to see if I could have a matching cupboard made - this was no problem despite being a small job - the same standards being maintained. I know I can call them as and when bits need replacing with no worry and I trust them - extremely important. I cannot recomend this company enough
