I wrote an honest review about cedar hill on Urbana rd and the manager who screamed at my son and made him cry, plus loads more. Then the manager has his goons hand deliver a letter to my sick father who has ALS, telling my father to scold me (I'm 35) and that I was mentally unstable. We've got bigger problems than you and your plastic cotton ballish furniture, your hatred to everyone and your obvious drug abuse, Mr. Manager. Or you're just plain psychotic. I wasn't going to roll over I thought it was right to be honest about my experience at the store and in buying their furniture. But YELP isn't honest so why bother? Bc my review and the copy of the threatening letter from Manager at cedar hill was taken down. I thought businesses couldn't pay to have reviews altered or taken down. I thought yelp was about honesty. But obviously that is a lie. Bc cedar hill paid to have my review taken down. I do have anxiety , Mr. Manager. But I'm not "unstable" just bc I gave you an honest review. So yelp why are you asking me to comment on places when the review can be taken down? Someone needs to start a site where the reviews cannot be taken down. To do what YELP claims it can do. I wouldn't set foot in the store again and my son is still traumatized. YOU know what you did. Asking to fight w my 71 year old father who can't move. You're a horrible person Mr Manager. On drugs or a complete psychopath. You scared me and I don't scare easily. Lol now you've scared YELP. Great sales staff! I went in to look for dining room furniture and also needed a bedroom set for the space bedroom. The saleslady was very nice to talk too, she asked what style and type of wood stain I liked and showed me several options. No pressure, no rush. I decided on Amish made furniture and again the saleslady helped me select from the options for tables, sideboards and cabinets, along with stains. She made the entire procedure easy. Delivery and set up was done just as promised and again the delivery people were very friendly and took care of my purchases. I have shopped there several times over the years and it is always the same experience. My daughter has recently purchased a house and has ordered new furniture for her house. Where do I start? First off, what a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome, the sales reps weren't pushy or eager just to make a sale. They were respectful and gave me space to browse their inventory. Then when I had questions they did not hesitate to set my mind at ease. Rian with an I, as he said, was very helpful and considerate. I told him what my price range was and he was more then accommodating. The Springfield location is full of beautiful pieces of furniture with many styles and fabrics to choose from! They carry quality furniture that is well built and made to last! I have several children and entertain many guests so this was a priority for me. I shopped several furniture stores in the area and Cedar Hills stood out from the rest! Alivia, the saleswoman, did a super job of giving me suggestions and allowing me time to look around and make selections on my own without feeling pressure, but always available to help when I had questions. I have been using the Cedar Hill family of stores for years. I have always been happy with my selections. But recently I got some new family room furniture and I can't say how thrilled I am with my selection. I got a Flexsteel recliner. Never had one this comfortable. And then my sofa and side chair with an ottoman is Smith Brothers. I have to say that is probably the best quality furniture out there. I usually go to the Springfield store and Rian and his brother are always very helpful. Although the people at the other stores are extremely helpful as well. Love this store read more

We were so pleased with the GREAT service we received at Cedar Hill Furniture in Springfield this past week. When the sectional sofa we selected and waited for didn't fit in our basement, Rion assured us he would find something that would work. He went above and beyond to be sure that we were well taken care of. Doug too (in delivery) was just terrific with the whole debacle. Two trips in one day and never did he make us feel like he was put out. So happy with the service-with-a-smile we received. And we love our new LazyBoy sofa/sectional. Chain furniture stores - especially around Columbus - seem to offer lower quality furniture with limited fabric and style options. My custom order looks lovely, is beautifully made and the selection at Cedar Hill far surpasses all the other stores I went to. The prices are great considering the quality of what they sell - solid wood / American made! Staff is very attentive and took the time to explain the options for each model. She let me browse on my own and when I found the perfect couch and love seat, we moved chairs around till I found the perfect side chair.
