I had one of those, ohhhh let's give this a go! Then that was quickly followed by the, 'This is why NO ONE COMES HERE!' and stormed off pissed. A friend and I wanted some fro yo and realized that this had the one and only fro yo spot unless we wanted to head 15+ minutes in any other direction since there is the Salt and Straw and Moberi but not actual fro yo. So, we braved the parking situation - again, read the reviews which almost all mention how bad it really is. People are truly awful and trying to pull in or out of spaces is a nightmare. I am ADA and I genuinely do not feel safe if I get stuck parking here. The parking lot was arranged horribly and it is carved weirdly creating a lot of blind spots. So we walk into the center and realize that all the stores are different, again... every time I try to visit a store here it is gone - they seem to last a few months but the fro yo spot was there for years and suddenly is gone and there is a ceramics class place. I would love to know where people plan to park for that since the lot already is full without 20 people trying to take a ceramics class. So we walk up to their 'map' to see surely there is ice cream or something IN here. We then after a whole lot of confusion since there is this insanely long list of businesses. We then realize that the list which is all over the place and the map is for the entire Cedar Hills Crossing which they include ALL of - stuff across the street and up the street and covering an insane area that we would not be walking to. Maybe you can just do a map of the building we are in which used to be called the Beaverton Mall.... I genuinely was so unnecessarily overwhelmed with all this garbage that I still don't know or care what the hell is in there. The other buildings are open strip malls you can drive and see the name of each business and you would be going there directly. So, I go back to not bothering to go here and the people who seem to know nothing about marketing continue to have no customers and wonder why. Just trying to get in and out of the parking lot was an insane time waste. read more

Super busy parking lot. Big sprawling across a few blocks - I got confused by where certain stores are cos Google map took me to a wrong address near by with no store in sight at all. They need to mange their GMB better, can't afford to frustrate consumers like that. It's a pretty standard suburb mall. Nothing unique. I probably won't go back. read more

Horrible layout, it's one super-duper strip mall. Pay attention when driving from one end to the other because the other drivers are a menace and people and cars dart out from everywhere. They keep adding more stores extending the strip yet never fix the dangerous parking lot issues. When I'm in the area or if I need to go to Craft Warehouse, I will visit a few other stores while I'm there. Nothing really impresses me. Ross is always under stocked, more free space than merchandise. Old Navy is usually a mess. Across the street I go to Bed Bath and Beyond. Cedar Hills Crossing is prime real estate and they can and should do much better! Both in terms of better stores and creating a footprint that is safer for cars and shoppers. read more

The family is from Mall Country, N.J., and what we've learned since the dawn of online shopping is that a mall needs to evolve to survive. My mom and sister love this place, and it's easy to see why. Instead of letting an indoor mall die a terrible death of bankrupt chains, closed storefronts and sad deterioration, Cedar Hills Crossing focuses on the things that work. It brought in Winco and New Seasons to ensure that people would always have a reason to be in the vicinity. They took a chance and brought in a Powell's at the time Borders and B&N ruled the world, and their gamble on an independent paid off. They went with sure things in McDonald's and Starbucks, but peppered in Shake Shack, Bamboo Sushi, Dave's Chicken, Moberi, Oswego Grill and Salt and Straw. And instead of letting its movie theater die a second-run death or price people over to the Portland theaters, it kept the matinee price below $10 while addressing lower volume with capped concessions prices and comfortable seats. The owners of this mall are absolute geniuses who have a great read of the room in their corner of Beaverton. Old Town is drawing Portland amenities. That arts center is just getting it together. The Max is two blocks away. Malls don't have to die, and many in Jersey don't. Cedar Hills Crossing succeeds by being the anti-Lloyd Center and giving people what they want and need. It's amazing that even as online shopping marches on, a physical shopping center can fare this well. The dying malls of Boston could take a lesson here. read more

This is a really weird mall- the majority of it is outdoors, and are typical shops you see in strip malls pretty much anywhere in America. Then there is a tiny indoor section that has almost no stores except for a Claire's, a knock-off Lego store, dead food court and restrooms. With the Christmas music echoing and almost nobody there, it was quite eerie. The traffic here was horrible, and the parking lot and streets are not laid out well whatsoever. The only positive is that there is a Powell's location, which is much easier to access than the original location in Downtown Portland. So there is that, but otherwise, I do not see myself coming back here for just about any reason. read more

I've been coming here since the Beaverton Mall days. It has been nothing if not flexible, I think Binyons is the only shop that has been there the whole time. Now days the inside of the mall holds little interest for me. The exterior shops are where it is at, I find myself here often. By exterior shops I mean ones with their own entrances for the parking lot. There are places I miss, Rays Watch shop for one. I'm still not sure where I will get a new battery, watch strap etc. That said there are lots of good places in this spread out location. Current favorites: Winco New Season Powells Other places I recommend Storeables Best Buy L & L Panera There are also other great places clustered around the mall. read more

This is one of the most spread-out shopping centers I've ever encountered. It's to me mostly a series of parking lots connected by stores more than a formal shopping center. I am very cautious here when crossing over to the stores to shop; you have to keep a sharp eye out due to the volume of drivers trying to park. The problem here is how close the stores are to the parking. So, I do take one star off for that. However, Cedar Hills Crossing gets the rest of the four stars because of its proximity to my home and the ability I have to walk or bus there so I rarely have to deal with the parking unless I rent a car or use Zipcar. I like the mix of grocery stores (Winco and New Seasons), restaurants, banks, movie theater, businesses, and shops. In other words, everything I need is there, and sometimes things I don't need at all (but still fun you know). read more

This mall will wither without Powell's by the main building. It is in a such sad state. There is barely anything worth going for here. Except for Thai Noodle, Hair M, Powell's, Starbucks, a Fro-Yo place, Golf Galaxy and the theater at the back. It is just a Crossing. Walk and cross as fast as you can after reaching those stores. read more

Crossing. A crossing. I guess I crossed from Cold Stone to Powells. I however did not cross from Binyon's to Harry Ritchies. There in an inside/outside component of the crossing that is not clear. I could cross from Best Buy to Old Navy outside, but find absolutely nothing appealing to cross to on the inside. The crap stores with names I have not heard of, and 2008 calendar kiosks are relegated to the inside. I did cross from Powells to Century 16 Cedar Hills, a good crossing... the only real crossing I ever want to do here. read more

This place gets another--Ta/Da..AVERAGE..score from me. I should love it-being as for years the Beav. Mall, formerly Bernards Airport/Beav Mall has been my local shopping center. Thing is, it just never took off. A few years ago, the owners put a bunch of superficial money into it and changed the name. Cedar Hills Crossing. Hmmmm. Not that the name change did much for the place. I only go there for the Mac Store, Powells, Winco and the shoe store. I miss Emporium terribly as well as GI Joes. I am continually surprised at the number of cars in the parking lot because the place is always empty-people must be at the theatre. If you want to go to a great mall, try the newer Tanasbrook place on Cornell. Beav mall would die for those stores. read more

Contrary to some, I tend to kinda like Cedar Hills Crossing. First of all, my favorite New Seasons in located here. I'm in and out of CH Crossing all the time because of the New Seasons. Then there's Powell's. Perfect for when I need a last minute gift or I'm searching for a specific book. I've found some gems in this location, including a amazing (and huge) Thai cookbook. A new Storables location just went in here, which has proved very convenient thus far, especially when I needed glass bottles for homemade gifts this year. They're also putting in a Craft Warehouse in March of this year. I also appreciate the ULTA location here, since I buy products there on a regular basis. Bank of America, Best Buy, Winco, and Ross are also frequented often enough. On the down side, this VisionWorks location doesn't have the best customer service. Same with LA Fitness. Also, I would probably stay away from BG Pizza (their pizza looked hours old) and head over to the infamous MOD Pizza instead. CH Crossing also boasts a McMenamin's, Pastini's, and Thai Noodle Etc. All good food choices. Overall a great place to complete errands and buy things you need...or just want. read more

I like some of the stores here. Old Navy is a staple for me. I've been in the Best Buy a few times. I like Powell's of course, and the frozen yogurt place....and on the back side, I hear good things about Thai Noodle, Hair M, and the theater. The inside of this mall though is Depression-ville. Small stores you've never heard of and no one seems to shop at. Food no one eats, if a restaurant in the tiny "food court" can stay open. Ok yes there is Cold Stone Creamery and that is good but the rest, yuck. But in short, folks - this is a bunch of chain stores in an outdoor mall with a tight parking lot and people driving way too fast through it while they pull their Tahoe out around a blind corner. 3 way stops but the 4th way can do what they want. What? As a related note - outdoor malls in western Oregon, especially without sufficient awnings make NO sense whatsoever. Are you new to town, Mr. Mall Designer? Are you drawing out these plans from your office in Orange County? Because it rains 9-10 months of the year here, so your lack of planning blows. We don't carry drippy umbrellas here and no one likes slipping on wet linoleum. Bad move. read more

To refresh the parking lot, they pulled out all the mature trees that provided shade to cars and pedestrians while providing resting space for the small birds and critters during the harsh weather period, not to mention the trees' right to existence. So self-centered! While they may replace the trees, it will be years before they are able to provide the wonderful benefits to the community again. I'll take my business somewhere they at least appreciate natural scape. read more

I just got a level of hostility from a barista that I wasn't prepared for this morning. I got yelled at for taking a picture by the morning (10:30) bar barista. I told her it wasn't of her-- I made a point not to get any people in the picture, actually. I wouldn't like someone taking my picture while I was at work either. I offered to show it to her so she knew she wasn't in it. She snapped at me, wanted to know why I took it and then informed me that people aren't allowed to take photos in Starbucks. I apologized, said I didn't know, and that I'd delete the photo. Maybe she's having a bad day, I don't know-- but the level of aggression shook me. I looked the policy up. I never knew there was Starbucks photo debacle. It looks like the stores didn't allow photos at one time. However, there are articles dating back to at least 2010 that say that rule changed. My son plays soccer and has hip hop class here. He's also gone to summer camp here and we've always been happy with the staff too. My son enjoys all the classes he's taken here. They also have a great workout room! It's perfect when my little guy is in class I can go get a quick workout in. read more

lt's your average mall. Reminds me slightly of Mall 205 and Eastport Plaza in the late 80's-early 90's that I experienced, mostly because it's a smaller mall. That's about the only similar aspect, though. Nothing really jumps out at me here. read more

Small shopping center that underwent a large remodel in 2002-2004. nothing special. Limited selection of stores. Parking lot is small. I Prefer the old mall before the remodel. read more
