Baklava and Lebanese coffee

Don't let the the location of this restaurant (hidden next to a much larger and flashy restaurant fool you! Cedars' food, service and authenticity are top shelf ! What a delicious dine in dinner! Taboulé, humus, Lebanese rice with meat, pita all great but add on the red sauce vegetables on the side and you'll be saying it's outstanding ! Highly recommended! Our server was very humble and helpful while ensuring not only our table but the other table near us too! Hospitality as you come to know it from the Middle East! Yes. The pistachio baklava was terrific alongside the Lebanese coffee!

Came here for dinner with my dear friend that I hadn't seen in a while. We were really excited for dinner given how great the reviews for this place are, and how convenient the location was for us. We enjoyed dinner, but it didn't wow me like I was hoping. We started with the Mazza Platter, and all of the dips that were offered were alright. I don't know that any of them really stood out either which way. For my entree I got the Cedars Lamb Shish Kabob. It was a single kabob on a huge bed of rice. The flavor was alright but I was very disappointed in the portion of meat, especially at that price tag. The service was wonderful though, and the ambiance is non-pretentious in the best way. I would definitely come back but I would change my order to get a better bang for my buck.

Most authentic Lebanese food in Pittsburgh! 10/10! Tastes like home-made cooking! The owners wife is soooo nice. She gave us free tea.

Food was very good. Loved the hummus and baked kibbee. Pleasant service. Lots of takeout orders. We ate in and liked that BYOB is welcome.

We also got a make your own bowl. I'm a vegetarian so i ordered the Vegetarian Ghallaba. Lightly spicy but very flavorful. Think of stir fry with peppers mushrooms carrot and chickpeas. You get to pick a base I chose spicy hummus. But regular hummus and rice pilaf is an option. There are a few different options for the salad as well. It was all so good. We were confused as to where the actual restaurant was. There is a sign on Route 8, so we parked there, looked around, walked downstairs, only to find it was offices. We then walked upstairs and found that the entrance was actually on the other side of the building but accessible from the front. It's an interesting place when you walk in. We were quickly greeted and seated. It seemed as though the owner and family were working. The menu was interesting, not real large but sufficient. We had, who I believe is the owner, come to our table and ask what we typically like to eat and then she was making suggestions. We thought she was just being helpful. My wife finally looked at her and said, I'm sorry are you also taking flour order now? She replied well that's what I was trying to do. To me that was a little off putting. We all took her suggestions and ordered. The food came out fresh and warm. It was good. We all tried each others meals. We felt that what my wife ordered was the best. The place isn't huge inside but it was fairly busy. It was a little pricey but not bad.

My favorites were: 1) the char-grilled octopus - so tender 2) chicken souvlaki - the roasted veggies were so good with the smokiness of the chicken! 3) the salmon on top of the Elia salad - it was cooked to perfection. Juicy and flaky! Our server was the one who recommended the Elia Salad with salmon on top with the Champgane Vinaigrette. But, we went with the Greek dressing... I think we would have liked her recommendation more because the combo of salmon and salad was spot on! She definitely knew what she was doing and what tastes good! We sat in the indoor patio-like area and it was very bright with natural light and I love the exposed wood deco inside. It feels rustic and classy at the same time. Such a nice vibe, would definitely come again with a group of people to have a filling and and diverse meal!

The other diner had the seafood medley with mussels, shrimp, etc. over pasta. Both meals were large portions and we took half home. Suprised by number of food options. Will be back to try other offerings.

Food:5/5 Before…read moreHanadi, most Mediterranean restaurants tasted pretty similar to me--similar herbs, spices, and sauces. I realized, I was definitely missing out. Though the wait was long (1hr on a busy Sunday), the food came out piping hot. Each dish was flavorful. The chicken shawarma was juicy, and had the right blend of spices and sauces without being overly heavy or soggy. The rice was simple side, but had nutty buttery taste profile complimented by the parsley garnish. And the friend cauliflower reminded me a bit of Indian Dahi Wada in flavor, but was piping hot and crispy. Now Hanadi's is my standard for good Mediterranean food Reasonably priced, fair portions, and good quality ingredients. Service: 3/10 Self order, food came out 1 hour late, but worth the wait.
