But just putting cream cheese frosting and red food dye doesn't really are something red velvet. I found the choice of cakes and sweets for a place called Mr Cake and supposedly American to be very disappointing. It should show choices not a case full of plates of the same cake like the counter at IkEA. The service was not good. The lines are confusing and the customers are also not the nicest crowd. Ambience makes or breaks a place pushing sugar. If staff and customers seems not the happiest it colors my enjoyment of eating there. I found their sandwich very ordinary but I wasn't expecting extraordinary at a place called Mr. CAKE. Perhaps that was my mistake when I was expecting more variety and excellence - if I knew I was only going their to eat 1 cake then I would have thought it was ok and maybe given 3 stars. If the cake had been the best red velvet ever--it could have gotten 4 stars.

Add extra sandwich for only SEK 10! Even take out at a smaller cost (no yoghurt incl). Saturdays they have this excellent breakfast buffet at 79 SEK. As good as any family hotel buffet! Eggs are freshly boiled and they have "kaviar" for those Swedes who crave. The interior is nice and warm, robust. One copy of GP news paper to read. Free wifi. Does not accept AMEX.
