Absolutely love this church. Nondenominational Christian church that teaches from the Bible. Lead pastor, Mark Gungor uses comedy in his teachings and helps to feed me spiritually. Celebration Church has always been like a second home to me because of the people that attend. God's great people :) There is true heart at the campus I go to in Menasha. There are 3 campuses. The big one is in Green Bay with satellite campuses in Menasha and Steven's Point. I do like having a Pastor in front of me speaking, but you don't notice the screen after awhile AND I am not going there JUST for the Pastor. I am going to worship with my family and friends who are like family. No Church is going to be perfect. We are all sinners and we all have our flaws. You have to take Mark Gungor with a grain of salt. I, for one like his straight up no BS nature. I find him real and authentic and not putting on a face for more $$$. He always refers back to the Bible and always encourages us too. Yes, he's funny and brass but he's real. He also makes fun of himself and tells a lot of relatable stories of his own life's lessons relating to what we're learning about this week. The children's program is improving as it has needed to for many years. There are more youth programs available too. If you want real people who worship God and put Him first in their lives, this is the Church for you :) read more

Long Time Member - Really Analyze Pastor Mark I have been a member of Celebration for over ten (10) years. It is with great disappointment that I am driven to write this review. I love the pastors of the church and I love the people. Pastor Lathan, his quiet calm comforting presence, along with Pastor Joe. Pastor Bob is fantastic for energy and I love to cheer him on. Then Pastor Keith who is so full of energy and passion for the kids, along with his wife Becky, brings the circle of Pastors together. Pastor Mark - I have long admired and loved him. I have sat in church and chuckled right along with the rest of the people both in the sanctuary and online. YET, as time has passed things seem to have shifted. Recently a good friend attended church as a guest and really SLAMMED me and Pastor Mark. She was QUITE SHOCKED at how Pastor Mark spoke about people. I listened to her, yet defended my Pastor and my church. That was ten months ago. NOW, I HAVE A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE after closely listening and re-listening to Pastor Mark speak at church and his little videos on Facebook. Those "Ask Pastor Mark" videos. I have sadly now seen what my friend saw. Pastor Mark talks about being nice to others, but turns around and is vile himself to others. He calls people names, degrades them based on what he thinks or has heard or determines as bad behavior and he ridicules them in church, online, and who knows where else? I, right along with everyone else, have laughed at his words and degrading of others. Just yesterday, September 5, 2017, I listened to him rant and rave about a man who takes his female co-workers to lunch. WITHOUT HIS WIFE! Then I thought about the time my friends and I went on Pastor Mark's yacht, Laugh Your Way, ALONE - - WOMEN - - WITHOUT DEBBIE!!!!! JUST US WOMEN AND MARK. This really did it for me. My pastor behaved just as this man did and now he was shaming the other person. Pointing his finger at him. Calling him names. The very same pastor who had done the same thing. I once again went back and listened to various sermons from services over the last few months. Wow. Pastor Mark states to be "nice" yet he, himself, is not nice. He speaks about people leaving the church (Celebration) because they do not like what he says. I know long time members have left the church over time and Pastor Mark ridicules them in church. He says they get mad at him and leave. No, they have left because Pastor Mark has changed. He speaks differently. He is IN CHARGE. DO NOT DOUBT WHAT HE SAYS. DO NOT QUESTION HIS IDEAS. HE IS THE PASTOR! RESPECT HIM!! I have not left yet. I am an active member and I am in Life Groups, I volunteer, and I love my church. I wish the other Pastors would be able to open Pastor Mark's eyes. Yet, they are his "employees" and I believe they are afraid to cross him now. read more

Celebration Church has played a huge part in my relationship with Jesus Christ . They have life groups which help you to plug in with other people so that you can do life together . We are called to have fellowship with our brothers and sisters. Without that it is easy to be led astray and get caught up in the things of this world. At Celebration the motto is be real, belong, become. Now, some people cannot handle the be real part including the messages that are convicting. We, including the pastors, are all human we all make mistakes. Pastor Mark often says that his teaching often even offends or hurts himself because we ALL deal with a lot of the issues that are brought to light. He does not go about pretending that he is high and mighty and that he does not do wrong. It's a struggle for ALL of us while we are still in this flesh on this earth. At Celebration we are challenged to live life the right way, the way God's word says. Pastor Mark likes to have fun while he is teaching. And that is how a lot of people I have met had taken an interest in Celebration Church, through his humor. And that is a great start, however, we all need to be studying God's word in depth so that we will not be misled by the world and so that we can grow in our relationship with Christ. Wednesday night service includes a verse by verse study, but it is also important to study on your own, feed yourself. And there are also several life groups that are based on Bible studies. I've finally stepped out of my comfort zone and started getting involved and joining life groups jywst a few years ago and wow, things really started to change for me and my relationship with God. I have been going to Celebration Church for about 15 years. If you are looking for something wrong at any church you will find it, including Celebration Church. Many sit in churches and pick at it, looking to see if they can catch and ridicule any little mispoken word, implication, or any little detail. What is important is that you review the mission statement of any church. Find out what the church believes and teaches. Make sure that it is biblically sound. If anything is ever taught, anywhere, that you think hmmmm... that doesn't sound right, look it up in God's word and find out for yourself! Only God is perfect, mans/womans words can be misspoken or misunderstood. But God's Word is never changing truth, that's why you need to know your Bible. Hope this helps! I've been to alot of churches in my life and never one that I felt so at home at, or one where I feel the messages that are delivered are so passionate and real. Ed and Mark talk to people like they are talking to their best friends and it's very easy to feel that they not only talk it, but they live it and believe it. I love this church! read more
