Even the arch was too large at the lowest point of the tent and would have damaged my flowers. When I got to the venue, they forgot parts of the arch and no one was around. I phoned the company and informed them the tent was too small and erected too close to the fence, they did absolutely nothing about it and I was told that it was the renters responsibility to determine the size of the tent. One would expect that they would be subject matter experts on which size tent to recommend and I would have happily paid for the correct size tent. This is totally unacceptable and cause me a significant amount of anxiety on my wedding they. I have written a formal complaint and phoned them and their response has been passive aggressive. I basically paid for a tent I couldn't use and my guests had to sit in the hot sun. One of my guests has health concerns and was really struggling with the heat. They do not communicate with you at all on the day of the event and just take off not checking in if you are okay with the set up. There is NO way I would have been able to fit everything under the tent. I am still waiting for their response. Please do not use this company because they don't take any accountability and just take your money! They will threaten you if you post a negative review and google you and go after your business, which they did to me.

Beware - Fraudulent Behavior by Paradise Events and Liting Chan…read more I paid a deposit of nearly $23,000 to Paradise Events and Liting Chan for floral décor four years ago. The wedding was canceled due to Covid (the planning service fee of $6000 was paid separately), and no flower décor were ever provided. Despite multiple attempts to contact her via calls and emails, she has refused to respond or refund my money. I have since left Canada and the deposit was lost forever. Her actions are dishonest and unprofessional--avoid doing business with them if you don't want to risk losing your money.

We had to postpone our wedding because of COVID, and he said it was no problem at all. We moved the entire thing a year out without any extra fees. Last thing you want during a pandemic is for your vendor to slap on extra fees for reasons that are out of both of your control and/or ghost you -- Mark didn't do any of that. When the wedding was finally happening, Mark was also super quick in sending over some proofs for the design -- again, super easy. The day of the wedding, Mark and his wife were both there working the photobooth. They were very friendly and professional. There were lots of props and they also gave guests ideas on poses to do. Our guests also commented on how nice the photos were -- everyone looked great in the excellent lighting.
