Though the designs are apparently centred around the more voluptuous side of the female form, I have had difficulty finding dresses flattering to my particular proportions when actually worn. This is perplexing, as my figure is well within the target size range and actual type for this kind of frock. Perhaps I just haven't tried on the right dress yet, as I see enough women wearing their designs around town and looking fabulous. They welcome you when you walk near them and seem genuinely friendly rather than wanting to push you into a sale. Catalog has a great variety of pretty dresses, nice tops and stylish jackets, which are suited towards nightlife rather than the everyday. Most of the brands were their own, but you could tell nothing was cheap or mass made here and the clothing while modern had a stated vintage feel to them. It's refreshing to find items you won't find at Meyer or David Jones. I found the staff to be overly friendly and helpful. I wound up buying a Wills leather travel bag here. Wills is a leather company from Oregon in the states and is not so easy to find in Melbourne. Worth a visit to the Windsor end of Chapel street to visit.

He took us through their clothing, was attentive without being overbearing, was not pushy, and very honest about what he saw that worked or didn't for my body. I'll go back again and again. But to be honest, I have been inside a million and one times and never walked out with anything. You know how when you drop in to your favourite shop and they have a sale rack and although everything looked pretty a week ago, when it's on that rack it looks a little sad? That's what this whole store is... Everything looks just a little bit sad. I get that it is a clearance centre, but high-price label designers in a bargain store? It just doesn't sit well... Plus, nothing is really that cheap? Unless you consider $85 for a satin singlet cheap. My favourite section of the entire store is the 'damaged' section, where you can usually find the really good, new stuff, but perhaps a button is missing. The main reason is that they are pretty cheap. The other reason is that the service here is tops. The service staff are always super duper friendly and helpful. The store itself is a little crowded but there is always plenty of crowded sale racks to make you forget how cramped you feel. My favourite items in this store are the colourful maxi dresses - only around in summer or nearing a warm period of the year. They are very unique and light - perfect for summer.
