The cottage is only a few hundred metres from their Cellar Door and is a farm-stay style cottage, set back from the vineyards of Cape Jaffa Wines. After our long drive from Melbourne, we were grateful to be welcomed with an impressive cheese grazing board, a bottle of Cape Jaffa Wines '25 Sauvignon Blanc and a 4-pack of Loophole Brewing Co. beer on the table. We visited their Cellar Door the next day and enjoyed a wine flight so we could taste their wine varieties. All delicious - my favourite being the En Soleil Shiraz. Afterwards, we drive the 20 minutes to nearby Robe, for some sightseeing and grocery shopping, to then cook dinner together before flopping on the couch to watch a movie. We stopped in at the adjacent Loophole Brewing Co brewery on Sunday before our drive home, to enjoy a brewery tour led by Tom, their head-brewer. All-in-all, it was a beaut weekend spent relaxing. Didnt see much of the Limestone Coast - we were too busy sipping the wines and beers! Highly recommend a visit and a stay. Jeff

This was actually a rather nice cafe, though it wasn't one of those places that stood out…read moreparticularly all that much. By that I sort of mean that it really wasn't all that fancy. However, as a cafe it was still pretty nice, and a good place to come and grab some breakfast, and a pot of tea. The prices weren't too bad, and the service was also quite friendly. Mind you, I didn't come here during the high season, so I guess there is that, but still, as a cafe, this place was pretty good.
