They were late the day of pick up saying they had a flat tire. They were late delivery as well saying they had a flat tire again. We slept on the floor both nights because of them being unreliable. We hired them for a stressless move and it ended up being a disaster. read more

Wayne, the manager professed to be a preacher. He promised a safe and easy move. He promised to wrap all our furniture and clean the house of all our belongings after taking a tour of our house. What really happened was that the furniture and belongings they did take were either gouged, legs broken off or completely destroyed. They didn't load all our belongings and clothing and said they couldn't complete the job for 2 and 1/2 weeks. We had to hire another mover to finish the job. Please do not be fooled by Wayne's smooth talking and high pressure sales pitch. His workers sat around for 2 hours waiting for him to bring a truck and supplies. Do not hire this company! read more

DO NOT even consider using Wayne Thomas and his company Cenla Moving. He is a scam artist but calls himself a Reverend. I wish there was an option to not even give one star. I had a 6000 square foot home in Alexandria, LA that needed to be moved to Jackson, MS. I met with Wayne on 2 separate occasions and asked many questions. I asked if he would be present during the move to supervise his workers, and the answer was yes. He told me it would take two days to load the house and one day to unload it. He reassured me all of his workers were professional and capable. He also said everything would be wrapped with blankets. When the guys arrived on the first day, they informed me that they had got home at 4 AM from a previous move. They were physically incapable of moving heavy furniture. I called to ask Wayne why he was not there to supervise, and he told me he had a business to run and he would not be there. Very little was wrapped, and the few things that were I had to provide the blankets. On the second day one of his workers quit, which I don't blame him. On the third day when only half of the stuff had been loaded. I told Wayne he could no longer have his men ruin my furniture and house and I would hire someone else to complete the move. The next morning he wanted his final payment before we left Alexandria even though it was agreed-upon that he would get his final balance in cash in Jackson. We had to threaten to call the police because he said he was not moving the trucks. I hired other movers in Jackson to unload the truck as his people were incapable. Things were broken, furniture badly damaged, walls and floors damaged. He assured me that Insurance would take care of it. After the insurance process it was all denied because he did not have any of his drivers listed on the policy. It was the worst mistake and nightmare I have ever gone through. If I can prevent anyone from this horrible experience, I would be happy to. My cell is 318-308-1113 and would be glad to answer any other questions you may have. The owner is unprofessional and rude! He does not care about his clients nor does he care about his workers. My appointment was for 9am. He didn't arrive until after 1 pm. He did not take responsibility for his tardiness. He just blamed U-Haul. Also, he doesn't own his own moving trucks. After arriving late after trying to reschedule my move to another date, the workers packed up the truck. The truck he received from U-Haul was too small and they had to take two trips from Alexandria to Duson. After I drove from Alexandria to duson, then back to Alexandria to get the rest of my stuff, he told his workers that he would not pay them and the police had to be called. Please do not use this service. He is rude, inconsiderate, and does not know how to conduct business in a professional manner. read more

Mr Wayne has been the most unprofessional business owner I have ever come across. His lack of communication was just the beginning of a very long day. I personally did not hire him to move my belongings but I personally witness him treat his employees with such disrespect who had been working all day and also offered no reconciliation to my sisters for inconveniencing them. He was paid over a month before the move in date but yet he had no truck ready the day of the move. He lacks professionalism and communication skills. This ended up being a horrible night for my sisters and being there to witness this was a disgrace. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Terrible phone etiquette Wayne was very unprofessional quoted a price but trying to find out ways to increase price wanted me to pay before he sent me a contract to read over very shady and the way he was trying to finagle increasing pricing before he even met me wanting to know what I did for a living. stuttered way too much Inconsistent and unprofessional-- I am glad I hung up the phone when I did n saved myself a headache! read more

My fiancé and I were scheduled to move on Saturday, June 26th at 9am; however, what was supposed to be a one day move resulted into two days. Mr. Wayne's service was an utterly disgrace and he should be ashamed of his lack of business skills. Mr. Wayne failed to communicate with me and my fiancé regarding his lateness and sudden change of plans. Mr. Wayne did not make the initial contact when he realized he would be late, I had to text him myself to see why he and his movers hadn't arrived at 9am as stated in our contract. Our 9am move turned into an after 1pm move. Once the movers finally got our belongings to the new location, we were set to head back to continue the last of the move, but upon arriving after over an hour drive, we were told the move would be completed the following day. Therefore, not only did Mr. Wayne arrive to us late, but he also allowed us to make a blank trip back to the original destination, he fired his movers on the spot, called the police because one of the movers refused to leave without being paid, and we had to wait for him to find another crew to move our remaining belongings onto the moving truck to be left overnight in an unsecured parking lot. Mr. Wayne showed no remorse for his actions, and even brought his wife into the matter all because he lacked effective communication. My fiancé and I did not return back to our new location until 2AM! The remainder of our belongings arrived Sunday, June 27th and not once did Mr. Wayne contact us to rectify the situation nor made any attempts to make amends. Mr. Wayne does or did have great workers (since he fired them), but he, himself, is not someone anyone should hire for their moves. He brags about being pastor, yet he doesn't know how to treat people and is a borderline bully. Mr. Wayne was paid in full an entire month prior to the move, therefore, we should've had little to no issues. I would not recommend his moving services nor his pastoral services. He businesses should be shut down indefinitely. read more

We contacted this company for an in state move. Upon meeting the owner, Mr Wayne he was very arrogant and adamant that he needed to be paid in full in order to schedule services. He was paid in full plus an additional fee due the number of floors the movers would have to navigate a month before the actual move. As a self proclaimed man of God, we mistook his arrogance for sincerity and decided to trust him with moving our items. Fast forward to the moving date, not only was Mr Wayne and his company 4 HOURS LATE (they were supposed to be there at 9:00am) but they also presented with a u-haul that was too small to move everything. Mr Wayne apologized and blamed it on u-haul but offered no discount or reconciliation for the matter. After promising to move all items on the selected moving day, we found out after 10pm that the rest of our items would be stored overnight at an unknown location and would be moved the next morning which we felt was extremely unprofessional. When asked why he was not communicating things with us, he instead got irate and said it wasn't his fault. Overall this business is very unprofessional. The owner lacks simple business and communication skills as well as leadership qualities. The only positive thing about this situation was the workers who actually moved us (although they were threatened that they would not be paid). I would not recommend Mr Wayne to move a pair of socks from one room to the next and I'm hoping this review deters others from experiencing the most unprofessional business I have encountered to date. No attempts were made to rectify the situation and I question the legality of finances in regards to this business but my main concern is the fact a con artist is attempting to pose as a responsible business owner. Stay far away and jus pick another company and don't make the same mistake we did trying to support a small business owner who could care less about his clients or employees. read more
