Dr. Hashim is the most unprofessional and rudest doctor I have ever seen. She is a drill Seargent that will not let you speak unless you are answering one of her questions, she doesn't care about your opinion and doesn't work with you as a team. She has NO STAFF and after reading all of her reviews on other sites I now see why. She is very belittling and Irate with her staff and patients. At first I completely understood that she is tough because maybe she has drug seeker patients or drug addict patients, but once she gets to know you and knows that this not what you are about you would think she would treat you as a human. I spent almost 1 year of her horrific treatment before I finally listened to my friends and family and found a new doctor. Be prepared if you have an appointment with Dr. Hashim that your appointment will take at least 3 hours because she does EVERYTHING on her own, from checking you in, running your insurance, doing all of the nurse jobs, setting up another appointment etc. She has NO STAFF because nobody can work with her! Please save yourself the heartache and look elsewhere. There are many other doctors that have a way better bedside manner. read more

I am so happy that I was introduced to Dr. Hashim. She has helped me through my pain journey due to Sjogrens, Fibromyalgia and severe join pain and inflammation. I'm able to be more active which I had not done in 10 years. She listens, cares and is devoted to her care plan for me. her office staff is friendly and scheduling is never an issue. Horrible - I was both coming off of a spinal fusion surgery and trying to avoid a second surgery. The doctor prescribed pain killers, and tried to inject with me a steroid shot for the fifth time in about 7-8 months. When I informed her that other doctors said the average number of steroid injections should be 3-4 per year, and this could harm me, she became irate and immediately stopped my medication causing a severe reaction. She said, "I am not just some doctor that prescribes medicine - I will only prescribe medicine if you pay for my spinal injections." Stay away! read more

Dr. Hashim was the first pain management doctor I consulted with. I saw her until 2015, for a few years until I personally took control over advocating for myself, researching treatment for my condition and ways to manage my own pain. I was naive at the time to put my trust solely in my providers) Again, I saw her for a few years; each appointment would take between 2-4 hours each time. Not because she was overbooked, but because everything moved at a snails pace there. She would do a pill count each month, and lecture and yell if you were even one pill short on a non narcotic pill. I work in retail, I put my pills in a separate non descriptive holder since my work bag must be clear plastic, and also separate each medication into a weekly holder to organize the amount of all medications I am on for my degenerative condition. I went through several medications as she did have some patience when it came to listening to how the effects were; however, despite my complaints on Lyrica being the worst one for me; this medication was always increased each month. I hope as a patient reading this you are aware that doctors receive incentives to push certain medications; and Lyrica was clearly her cash maker. I had migraines, leg swelling, numbness, fainting and at my dangerously high dose before I fired her as a doctor - I was blacking out from this medication. In fact, when it became apparent she wouldn't work with me on lowering this medication.. I did it myself. I was taking 1/3 the dose she recommended, felt better and wasn't blacking out in the a.m. (When I mention black outs, I mean complete black out. I would be awake, by yet sleep walking and nodding off frequently. She showed zero concern for this when it was mentioned by me). She wasn't even concerned that I told her I was concerned for the blacking out as I had a young child at that time. The final straw of her frequent anger (usually directed towards her poor staff) were enough for me to never go back. Her cat had died. I had my young son with me for my appointment, as these would take hours (thankfully he is a very quiet child, and would be amused by playing ipad or coloring). No one notified us in advance. My son, 3 at the time, asked her where the pictures (screensaver) of her cat was. She replied 'Dead you little axxhole' THAT was the final straw. I took my monthly rx and never returned. Now that I've been away and educated myself more on medication, I'm very lucky she didn't cause me to be so over medicated that I died or caused an accident while driving. Her blatant disregard over collecting incentives from Lyrica is disgusting. Ironically since I've not seen her as a patient... and I do work in retail... this review is finally written after seeing herald her anger recently in the form of a horrid adult tantrum at my place of employment. She actually screamed at a coworker since we were out of an item that was being discontinued and was on clearance. We had offered to call other stores, or look online and she had the nerve to belittle us like the adult bully she is. I personally also witnessed her popping a few rx pills as she was shopping before her erratic outburst. Please chose your pain management providers wisely. They literally have your life in their hands, and you need to advocate for yourself. Also, if you are pushed Lyrica and it doesn't work out or you also have horrible side effects please advocate for yourself. This medication isn't the end all / be all as she touts it to be. It just happens to pay doctors the most in bonuses and vacation 'seminars'. read more

If your in need of a great Dr. for pain management you need to go see Dr. Hashim she is very involved with her patients I have been going there for 4 years she is very knowledgeable about pain and the human body and gives great advice how to deal with pain and injections she always listens to what you have to say I am so thankful for Dr. Hashim keeping my pain under control I have been to other pain centers but NO ONE is as good and caring as her even the woman at the front desk and nurses like Paige are great and caring read more
