We looked at many more schools before, but finally chose here because we saw the leadership of the administrator Liz, Asa's work ability is also outstanding, and the other teachers are really meticulous. My son went here for a little over two years. The owner, Ms. Cindy, is very kind and reasonable. In addition, she is very knowledgeable in regards to early childhood education and has years of experience in the field. When he began attending this school, he was in the young toddlers classroom, before moving to older toddlers and then Get Set, which prepares three year olds for preschool. His most recent teacher, Ms. Kim, is a gem. She's been at the school for over 10 years and it is very apparent that she loves what she does. She's not one of those teachers who views it as a job to collect a paycheck. She obviously has a passion for working with toddlers, which is what you want when you're sending your toddler to a facility and you're relying on others to attend to them for 6-8 hours a day. When we were having issues with potty training, she gave us valuable tips that we practice successfully to this day. She also taught my son Spanish, among many other valuable things. If we could take her with us, we would. She is the epitome of what you want in a teacher at an early childhood learning center. While enrolled at the school, my son had an accident in which he broke his foot. I was irate as none of the teachers were able to explain how it happened. Ms. Cindy worked with us and we did not have to pay a dime for the medical expenses. There were a few other little mishaps that can be experienced at any childcare center. For example, we would send him with breakfast in bowls labeled with his name and during one week, not one bowl came home. This was frustrating because parents are required to label their child's belongings and you expect said belongings to be returned. The tuition is a bit costly and food is not provided. It's something to be mindful of if you're thinking about enrolling your child.

I…read morewas pretty nervous after having some not-so-great experiences to leave my babies somewhere else and was actually considering staying home instead. Goddard made our transition easy and enjoyable. We absolutely love it. The teachers are fabulous, the hours are great and our boys are progressing SO much. We also love the app that they use which allows us to see what they are doing each and every day. There is no better feeling than dropping your babies off, knowing that they will be safe and happy. I would highly recommend this center to anyone.

Extremely disappointing experience with this school from beginning to end…read more To start, they require children to undergo lead blood testing just to attend their summer camp, an unnecessary and intrusive requirement. More concerning, however, is their discriminatory treatment of children with IEPs. Both of my children were enrolled in the camp, but after I submitted one of their IEPs (at the school's request), they revoked that child's admission within a few hours of me sending the report. This decision was made solely based on their IEP. I had mentioned that they were welcome to call his current teacher to gain more information in regard to how well he/she was doing, but they didn't want to hear it - full admission denial one month before the start of camp. I would not, under any circumstances, recommend this school.

Shamima and Stewart (Lower Elementary teachers) have created an environment that nurtures curiosity which then motivates the children to learn. My son was initially a reluctant reader who was not pushed but gently guided. He self-motivated into reading well above grade level. He has always loved math and because of the Montessori program, has progressed at his own pace and is excelling. The teachers keep a peaceful, respectful environment where kids of all abilities and diverse backgrounds are made to feel an integral part of the classroom. The classrooms are bright, large and clean and the library is full of resources. There are smart boards that are relied upon to an appropriate degree. Tech class, Spanish, Music, Gym, Art are all 1x/week and are led by excellent teachers too. The student-teacher ratio is excellent also.

I take my 2 y. o. granddaughter nearly every week. There are so many wonderful things to explore…read moreand learn from. They have a walking path through the woods with a natural playground and sandbox, a bird house building to watch and interactive displays, a mini zoo inside a house with small animals and activities including a treehouse. They also have weekly activities and seasonal events for elementary school kids. My granddaughter calls Briar Bush "The Animal House" and loves to put a donation in the collection box before we leave.
