I also handed her a $4 coupon. Before the issue was clearly resolved, she tore up my $4 coupon. She then insisted it had been applied, but the total only reflected the 25% discount on my $16.99 item. The additional $4 discount was not included. When I politely pointed out the discrepancy, instead of explaining or correcting it, the interaction became argumentative and dismissive. We went back and forth for about 30 minutes, with no resolution. Since my coupon had already been destroyed and the pricing issue still wasn't resolved, I ultimately decided not to complete the purchase. The missing $4 wasn't the biggest issue--it was the lack of professionalism, clear communication, and customer service. I expect a shift supervisor to handle situations like this calmly, accurately, and respectfully. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. I hope CVS management reviews this incident so future customers don't have a similar experience

They run your prescription before they check to see if they have the drug you were prescribed in…read morestock. This locks you in with their pharmacy and then, when they don't have the drug (and this is not unlikely since they are small), they tell you to return tomorrow. Not good if you are on a schedule. I have a family member who is supposed to take a drug at the same time every day and their protocol has messed up the schedule now. This would be easy to fix: Don't run prescriptions through before assessing if you have the drug in stock, HyVee.

Employee asked for our name, then to spell our last name and then to spell our first name. They're all pretty basic, but we weren't bothered by this. Beyond this necessary communication the employee said zilch to us. The woman was absolutely miserable. Once our prescription came through the window there was no "thank you," or "have a nice weekend." This was a huge departure from the super nice and engaging pharmacy manager who works here. Yikes. If anyone from Walgreens is reading this and you can figure out who was working the Edgewood Rd. drive-thru window on Saturday, 06/12/21 at 2pm, please encourage some additional customer service training.
