My favorite is the Tandir, which is a little spicy, but all the soups I've sampled here have been delicious. A menu of the day is available if you want a quality entree other than soup. Oh, and they have an amazing marble bread (zeytin ekmek, I think) that they actually sell by the loaf for 7 liras - we've grabbed a few to have with dinner after a delicious lunch here! Prices are pretty good for the Ata-blocks - you can have a very satisfying lunch here for 13 liras or so.

I got all sort of soups ( offal is my fav. by far) in here. Any day of a week, anytime of the day, It always taste great. They have giblet dishes as well, standard Turkish cuisine. Menu: has pictures for the monolingual English speaking (me). You get bread and a pickles plate to start off with. Tips: DON'T drink the garlic dipping sauce when it comes to your table. It is not for drinking out of the spoon (Sorry, Kinaci patrons who followed after me) We did have the iskembe favorite. It was worth trying. All in all we felt we had a hearty meal and then hit the sack in preparation for a day of sightseeing.
