I love volunteering but I was, spiritually, in a difficult place at that time. The last service I went to in person was a sermon over how big of a mansion we would have in Heaven if we volunteered, and if we didn't volunteer, we would still get into Heaven but we wouldn't have as large of a home. I have continued to watch online but something just didn't sit right with me after that. Over the past several months, the messages have started becoming political, like everything else and it's just no longer for me. I miss the way it used to be before it became another mega church. It definitely doesn't feel like an "accept everyone" environment anymore like it did when I first started going to VLC.
