On my first trip to Bristol Motor Speedway--which was my first trip to Bristol, TN--my friend and I…read morejust happened upon this church, as it is located in the shadow of the speedway. I have been returning every year since. The people are wonderful. They ask for a donation to park on race day and offer a shuttle to the track, but I generally walk. They also over a nice breakfast (donation requested) and clean restrooms. There are places closer to the track to park, but not as nice or "inexpensive"--and they do not offer nice facilities, relative security and breakfast!
