Well I'm gonna give my review my calico cat was suffering from fluid and getting choked and I…read morecouldn't do anything and she was acting like she couldn't breathe so I brought her to the vet. I was standing in line literally holding my cat when she started convulsing and I was watching her eyes. She grabbed and latched onto my arm with her claws which at the time I was freaking out and didn't know what was going on. I watched the life leave my cat + when I got back into the back which everybody said go ahead go ahead of us as the veterinarian old man later on the table the metal table + I was trying to blow into her mouth and her nose as best I could to try to revive her after he picked her head up and let it fall back on the table and said that cat's dead. It was the most harshest cruelst thing I had ever encountered. I understand she was old but the way that it was handled was very unprofessional. So I give this a zero star. I do not even consider a star incredible for this business, needless to say I've never brought any of my animals back there.

I took my dog there to be neutered. This has been horrible. He has been vomiting after only sips…read moreof water. I thought he was dead earlier because i found him lifeless with eyes wide open, but motionless. He didnt respond when i said his name. Finally, I shook him & he took a breath. But, hes still lifeless & wont eat or move. I was up all night with him vomiting every sip of water he took....until he had dry heaves. I have not called the vet yet. But, I'll tell you this...I will never take my dog there again for ANYTHING. We will stick with East Side Animal Hospital on Morgan Ave in Evansville. Gallatin Co Vet Svs gave me nothing to tell me what to expect, what to be alarmed about, what's normal...NOTHING. Most places give you a printed sheet with instructions, what's normal, what's not, when to contact the vet, etc. Just the front desk lady with the personality of a rock sounding like she wished we would just go. I would like to speak to one of the vets directly instead of stone cold front desk lady, but you don't even get to see or speak to the vets there. I'm so unhappy with this. Sometimes cheaper isn't better. I'd rather pay twice what I paid for better service & care.

Receptionists need improvement! In my opinion, from my…read moreexperience, the Marion IL branch of Central Animal hospital had little to no regard to my dog's welfare. I arrived 5 minutes before my dog's scheduled appointment. I left my 18.5 year old dog relaxing in my air conditioned car to find out if they were on schedule. They said yes. I brought my 18.5 year old dog into their not very well air conditioned, slippery floor lobby. Waited 10 min past my appointment time as I watched my dog getting more stressed and having more difficulty managing their lobby floor. I then asked "I thought we were on schedule, how much longer am I to wait?" The receptionist said yes you are on schedule but we are behind on appointments. I ask "well how long do we have to wait?" The receptionist left the lobby for a couple minutes to find out then came back to apologize, saying they just had a euthanasia, and some other stuff and are behind AND they could NOT tell me how long I was to wait. I get it that stuff comes up and schedules get pushed back HOWEVER, they should know-ish how long my 18.5 year old dog would need to wait before and after the receptionist went in back to consult with whomever. They should be pro-active on rescheduling or setting wait time expectations. It seems they think it is ok to let 18.5 year old patients wait indefinitely, getting stressed in their waiting room. Very disappointing on the total lack of proactiveness and concern that was shown to me and my dog.
