Located this business via Craigslist when I was searching for firewood. Spoke with Tony and within two hours I had a truck load of firewood being unloaded and stacked in my garage. We paid $100 for the wood and a $20 tip to the guy who unloaded and stacked everything nice and neat. The wood is seasoned and a mixture of different types with no bugs. A give Tony and Central Kentucky Tree Service a five star rating for the tree work performed for me last week. My home developed an underground drainage problem caused by late winter and spring rains. To fix the problem we need to dig and install a 200' French drain in a tight spot between the back of my house and a tree line less than 5' away on the opposite side of planned drainage ditch. This was further complicated by the tree work having to be done from my neighbor's property and when it was dry enough. The trees had to be removed first before the drainage ditch dug as a precaution to prevent them from falling on our house as a result of major root damage caused by the ditch project. So the solution for the drainage problem was contingent upon about 10 tree being removed first. Many conditions beyond my control. Tony had removed some of my neighbor's trees and my neighbor thought He was reasonable and reliable. I chose Tony primarily because of my neighbor's recommendation and because it was being done on his property. Tony was able to coordinate my needs, my neighbor's needs and Tony's schedule to get the trees removed quickly and Safely as soon as it was dry enough and the day before the next heavy rain began. What a relief for me! Thank God for Tony and my neighbor. Now we can begin the French drain project. Tony's quote and price was very reasonable, he and his crew were very personable, hard and good workers. Even though I had a few additions to my original tree work that could have increased my cost by several hundred dollars, Tony stayed with his original quote. That's the type guy he is. I had a dead tree close to my house. Called Tony and he came out and gave me an estimate to remove it. We had not yet closed on the house so I told him that we could do it any time after the closing. A couple days after the closing his crew showed up and took the tree down very quickly. The crew said he would mail me an invoice.
