I am giving one star due to the cmp company call center in general. I have no reason to give the rumford crew for my dealing with them so far would be 4 stars. This utility company is way out of its depth with regard to storms, and their inability to respond in a timely manner. After this storm which is, for the most part over and we had been in the dark for over 12 hours, now there is nothing happening weatherwise, the snow has pretty much melted and, what do you know, the lights went out again for no reason whatsoever, other than some moron working for them did the wrong thing. The television stations in this area are in cahoots with them, because they are conditioning people to expect power outages are the norm. Since this backward State's rates are the highest in the country, we have a right to expect the employees of this company know their a$$es from their elbows, AND THEY DON'T. The meteorologists on television should NOT be giving them a pass by telling their viewing audience to expect outages - NO WE SHOULDN'T if they knew what the hell they were even doing. read more
