The second she got home she was smiling from ear to ear and telling me how comfortable Joe made her feel driving. She said he was very nice and patient with her. I was taught how to turn the steering wheel, use turn signals, using the brakes and accelerator, changing lanes, merging lanes, deal with traffic circles, speed limit, and so much more! I went from driving with no accelerator around my neighborhood to driving with the accelerator in the main roads! Great progress :) Second lesson was with Shelby, who was very good as well! She showed me DMV routes, taught me how to reverse in a straight line, lane changes when there was a bike lane present, and had me practicing what I needed to practice most. I am now very good at turning, performing the task of a U-Turn, changing lanes, and looking out for bikers in bike lanes. My last instructor was Christian, who was excellent! Very verbal in a very good way. He repeated things that were important so I could remember him saying those things. He taught me how to look ahead at all times, he taught me how to park in the mall parking lot, and he really worked on straight parking! Thanks to him, I can park at many places and I'm able to park along the curb without ever hitting it! Overall, every instructor I had were excellent! They were able to teach me with patience, tips, and of course, kindness and encouragement! Very informative and they prepare you VERY WELL for the DMV behind-the-wheel test!
