We opted for three courses: starter, entree (stuffed chicken atop quinoa risotto) and dessert (brownie, chocolate crumble cake, ice cream) and polished it off with cafe. The average age is about 55, but I was there with a friend and we both felt at ease even though we are in our 30s :-) A had a hot chocolate and he had a normal coffee, we shared a piece of cake (check out their selection at the front). Everything was good. The place is decorated as though it was cut out of 1950's Vienna which is just lovely. Prices are fair (don't know why Yelp indicates it's super expensive- it's certainly not more expensive than any other cafés around) and the service is good. I'd recommend it!

The service was very friendly and English is spoken here. We decided to try a chocolate covered banana and a light cake topped with jellied berries which seems to be a common dessert here in Germany. We also ordered a cappuccino and milk coffee. The cashier was nice enough to give us a half off discount on the cake since it was a small slice and also gave us a glass of water at our request. I ordered a Gemüse Quiche (veggie quiche with carrots and broccoli) and a slice of Fehmarnsche Schichtentorte (marzipan raspberry layer cake). The quiche was stuffed with carrots, which I liked, and the egg base was mild and creamy. The airiness of the cake and whipped frosting was nice with the rich marzipan. Sometimes vanilla cakes are too plain for me but the marzipan coating added a complexity that made this one very enjoyable for me. It wasn't overly sweet either so it didn't leave a sugary aftertaste. I had a few bites of some other cakes too and they were all of the same high quality, so I'd definitely recommend them for a special treat.

You can drink tea right there aswell, they have some chairs and a small table. Service is nice and explains quite patiently, so if there are some customers queuing, it might take a while :)
