The work was generally well done. I pointed out areas near the wheels with a lot of rail dust that needed particular attention during the paint decontamination. Those areas were cleared well, however there was residual rail dust on the rear bumper (not that big of an issue since it's plastic anyway and unnoticeable unless examined up close). They shampooed the carpets however there was debris hidden underneath that wasn't vacuumed. Other than those two detail areas, everything else was sparkling and the car was definitely elevated by a notch. Contact areas (the steering wheel, door frame, door handle) were all spotless and clean to the touch. That's what I want coming out of a full-service detailing job. Appointment booking at the Laval location was slightly easier than the Montreal locations but they are open less long. There's the 151 that passes often enough (for a STL bus) that can take you to Côte-Vertu, which is actually more convenient than some of the other locations. The Tuango offer is a great value. I'm not sure I would pay regular price for individual services that I can obtain for cheaper and more conveniently at one of the many car-washes in Montreal. I would go back once a year to do get the waxing and paint decontamination if they still do the coupon promo.

Over the years we've had some small issues but I would kindly declare that most near all have been dealt with professionalism and quality service. Here is how I go about my service routine. I call for an appointment, get it scheduled, arrive on the day hand in my keys, go wait in their cozy new lounge and wait for my name to be called to pick it up pay and I'm out the door. She was expecting me, and had all the details of my vehicle and the verification that needs to be done, and asked me to pull my car in. A few minutes later, the mechanic lifted the car up and less than 5 minutes later he had already diagnosed the problem and recommended that he will just remove part of the exhaust and solder another piece, rather than replacing the whole exhaust. He completed the job on the time estimated and at 9.31 am, I was paying the bill and left. It was nowhere I thought it would cost me, and totally amazed by the level of expertise and professionalism of the entire team. They are the muffler experts! Low and behold, as I watched them fix my car, all they did was repair the flex tube which goes to the manifold. After the repair was done, which only took a HALF hour, I asked the mechanic why he did not replace the manifold to which he now replied that the manifold was good. NOW HERE IS THE KICKER....he still wanted to charge me $320. The mechanic then accompanies me to the office where he tells the girl behind the desk that he never said there was an issue with the manifold, another guy that appeared to be more of a mechanic (or a manager) comes to tell me that to replace a manifold is over $500. Then I respond to him, "what is your hourly rate?", the mechanic took 30 minutes and the pipe cant be more that $50. He replies that they work by "job", not by hour and accuses me of not wanting to pay for services that he rendered. He goes further to say that they are human beings and a family business and continues to insinuate that I'm at fault and that I don't want to pay. I explain to the gentlemen that he is not dealing with an idiot. If the mechanic had said he would have simply repaired a flex pipe for $320, I would have never agreed to such ridicules price. I explained that even at $150 hourly rate, plus the cost of the flex pipe, my bill should not be greater than $200. I guess he knew that he could not hold my car for payment because he said "do you want to leave without paying?" and I responded that I was not there to cheat him but did not want to be cheated either. I upped my price to $250 and he charged me $250 plus taxes (my offer included the taxes) but I paid any way. BE WARNED....these people try to come across as honest, BUT THEY ARE ANYTHINHG BUT !!!!!!! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!
