When we arrived there, the administration was rude and unfriendly, the dental hygienist were wonderful and the dentist did their job however the whole culture is not promoting trust with kids. Its about making money, as fast as you can as soon as you can. My daughter was crying and the dentist basically told her to deal with it. She had a cavity and I accept my responsability however, she was sent back with some black product on her tooth and when we called back saying she is stillin pain, they dragged their feet and added more product and finally the cavity has migrated to other teeth that ended us having to give her 8 crowns. When mentioning to the dental place they told us we would be on a list and thats it, no rush no follow-up. My daughter was on advil and tylenol three times a day and yet nothing was done. We went to another location which I will not disclose , they managed to get within a month the meeting and perform the action themselves. Not only this, our new pediatric dentist is also trained in childhood psychology which meant that my kids now feel confident to follow her into her office and let her check their teeth. This is the difference between a culture that promotes trust versus to Dentistry Saint-Charles which promotes quick profit and loss of customers. I will never trust this center with my kids again.

I meet this dentist on Sunday (yes, Sunday), and l have an exam, and prepares three other appointments for the repairs of my upper right teeth. Goes to the welcome desk, pay for the visit, get a dental estimate for the work, submit everything to my insurances. Next appointment next Sunday. Second visit, starts the work. No pain whatsoever. Goes really well. Truly happy and satisfied. They submit paperwork to the insurances, all goes through, does not pay anything. Truly happy when leaving. Third visit, dentist decides to do both remaining treatments in one shot. Work is done. No pain. All good. Back at the welcome desk, here is where the trouble starts. Clinic is also about to close. Insurances does not go through. Have to find a way to pay $1300 in one shot. Limit is $1000 per day on my card. No credits on me. Kid behind the plexiglass is obviously annoyed. I am annoyed because this will cause issues on my bill/rent payments. Manage to pay, with the difference the next day. They at least submitted the paperwork. Surprise! When they submitted the paperwork, he checked the box where the insurance company pays directly to the provider. So not only did l pay them for the work, my insurance company (and my employer) paid then too. Now l am out of $1000. This caused a HUGE financial stress on us! Call the clinic and they tell me that they have to receive payment from the insurance company (understandable) before paying me back, and that it can take up to a month's time before they can pay me back! A month?!? I gave proof on my mobile app that YOU will receive the money. Can't you reimburse me now? Two weeks go by and l finally manage to get my money back (they receive the check from the company). This place would have been terrific if they did not screw up the insurance part. The kid who entered the insurance stuff not only check the box " Pay directly to the provider " (and still made me pay by debit, and caused so many problems for me, and looked annoyed as...), but also entered the dental codes wrong, which my insurance company had to adjust and put in the right codes. A proper training of all the staff on insurance submissions would definitely help the place. My trust is broken and l am unsure if l will return there.

I had been thinking about invisalign for like 5 years prior to this visit. When you first arrival, you have your consult with Michelle, She takes some pictures and talks you through the treatment. Then she introduces you to Dr.Korne and he answers any questions you might have. Let me tell you, I cried a lot during this process and it was literally just us talking. Michelle was super nice and reassuring. She was just such a ray of sunshine, that it was exactly what I needed to go through with getting this done. She answered every call and email with so much love and patience. You come back a few weeks later and they show you options of what they'd like to do for your teeth. It's actually really cool, they give you this log in and you can check the progress and what your teeth will look like. He gave me three options, which I really liked. One that was easier for me, someone with a lot of trauma concerning dentist. One that I wouldn't like but he really thought I would get the nicest smile with that option.. and a middle option. He gave me three because he wanted to do what I felt comfortable with. I ended up doing his option after much crying. (it was very much so worth it) Dr. Korne is nice and exceptionally talented. He would make an effort of dealing with my anxiety and tried to make me feel better, which was very sweet of him because I could tell he didn't understand where I was coming from. I appreciate his effort so much. :) Anna, takes a moulding on your mouth to really get the processes started. She's a bit rougher then I'd like and not as understanding, But she is very talented, patient and has a kindness to her. His assistant Jenny is my favourite! She's so kind and high energy. She was very sweet with the understanding of my anxiety and quickly understood how to work with me to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. She made the experience at this clinic wonderful. This orthodontist is pretty expensive, But absolutely worth it. They offer payment plans as well and really work with you to make sure you can afford it. I never once felt like they were out to get my money. I love how Dr.Korne provides matching outfits for his staff. The two lovely ladies at the reception are always matching and it just makes me happy. They are so bubbly, sweet and just gentle individuals. I love walking into his office. All the technicians have matching outfits as well, it's just great! The office is bright and very clean. They don't offer parking however it's in an area of Westmount, That i've never had an issue finding parking. If you're petrified of the dentist/orthodontist, this is the office for you. I've never once felt stupid for crying because I was scared.. and I started this process when I was thirty.
