I teach customer support and communications to professionals in diverse industries for over 15 years. I sadly must share my thoughts of my experiences with the secretary at the Decelles centre these past years.
I have gone out my way to tolerate the lack of tact and kindness regarding the secretary's communications skills (named Linda). "Some" issues: She constantly interrupts me when I speak, her tone is that of someone who is constantly bothered to take your call, and has no interest in helping you. She provides information as though "ordering" you around, with an air of punishment and anger. I am forced to persist and finish explaining my request with great difficulty, and I am forced to deal with someone who couldn't care less, lacks empathy, and because she is forced to hear me out until i'm done, when unhappy she hangs up without saying goodbye in her usual irritated fashion.
After years of tolerating this, after going through this again (this is not the first time) I decided to call her back today to share how insulted I am. I tried to be as kind as possible in my tone, and began with "excuse me but I don't mean to complain but I did not appreciate your attitude.... only to be interrupted and spoken to at the same time I was speaking. She told me she is NOT in customer service therefore clearly feels her role does not require courtesy and politeness to the patients of the dr.'s she works for. She told me "if i'm not happy to file a complaint" and then proceeded to say: "she will wear her trophy with pride on her desk". There are no words to describe this person's attitude.
So here we are. It is truly sad that I felt the need to write this today, but I do hope the good Dr.'s at this clinic will read this review. I am sadly disgusted by this woman's attitude, and have "never" in my career and personal life, wrote a negative review about anyone, as I know this impacts people and their livelihoods.
ps in addition: I will never forget visiting the office, with my elderly mom with mobility issues as I was holding her and walked into the reception area, and she ordered us to step out, she did not ask. She did not apologize and did not offer a chair. She could not bear the perfume I was wearing. !!!! Again things will happen but the there is no excuse for such lack of respect for others. She is truly the worst I have ever encountered.
ps: The Dr's are wonderful read more
