I stopped in my tracks when I saw Un Enfoque Personal, which is Photographic Studio, Art Gallery, and place for mementos all rolled into one. I particularly enjoyed a picture of Lisbon that brought back fond memories. That photo was part of a larger exhibition by Israel Ortíz de Zárate called "Ciudades De Paso" . The owner was enjoyable to chat with (even through my broken Spanish) and I ended up happily leaving with a few unique photos of Segovia.

The professionalism, authenticity, passion, music, and especially the powerful sound of the dancers' heels were absolutely mesmerizing. One full hour of incredible energy and talent from beginning to end. You can feel the emotion and dedication in every movement. If you're coming to Madrid, Cardamomo is a MUST-STOP! Don't leave Madrid without experiencing this beautiful art form live.

Had to check out a flamenco show while in Spain. Found this one online as a reputable show in…read moreMadrid. You can purchase tickets ahead of time online and there are a couple different tiers, which impact where you are seated. Opted for the second to best seating as I thought front row would be too jarring on the neck (in retrospect, it wouldn't have been, but out seats were still fantastic). Ticket includes a welcome beverage and you can also pre-order food on your ticket too. Arrived to the show on time and got a welcome glass of white sangria. It was solid, and refreshing. Show began more or less on time. Multiple acts throughout the one hour performance. There was one on guitar, one on hand drums, and two vocalist, accompanied by three performers. Performances were mostly solo acts but there was maybe 20% of duos or trios. Overall really impressive. I don't have any other flamenco show to compare it to so I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience and would recommend it.
