I had my first hydrafacial here! The location is hidden upstairs in a building in Chinatown, but once you find it, it's a beautiful spot. Clean and luxe! They even decorated for the holiday season. The treatment room for the facial was small but clean and comfortable. There's a cabinet where you can leave your stuff, and they provide a robe for you to change into. Before starting treatment, I was offered an herbal tea. The tea was a wonderful way to start! Recently went for a full body massage. Wanted a deep tissue since work has been a lot of me recently. The room was very private, clean, had a sink and a shower. She directed me to get comfortable to to lie down face forward when ready. I was in pure bliss for the next hour. The pressure was just enough and she kept checking in on me. I have a torn ACL on my left leg and she seemed to take extra comfort around the area. I didn't leave the massage with any aches or distress. Spent $60 for an hour and I would pay again. The massage was good. 60 minutes for $70. But when we went to tip I was planning to tip $10, but the lady at the register told me I need to tip $20. Her exact words, "you have to tip $20, nobody tips $10." I was so embarrassed. I tipped them $40 ($20 each for my husband and I). Never going back there again!!! That was like a ridiculous 30% tip. I always come out satisfied as to my goals for my muscles and my face. I come out ironed and cleansed. Went here years ago with my mom (maybe 5 or 6 years ago?) and the massages were pretty much the same- good, what you would expect of a massage. But it was after the massage that really threw me off. When we tried to tip $10, they told us that they're "professionals and need at least $15". No idea why they think it's okay to talk to paying customers like that but we won't be going back. read more

EXCELLENT facials- THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! I have been around the world for facials- different countries and 5 star hotels are my favorite- but I have NEVER received better results with my facials than with Sylvia at HK Health Center . In the 12 years I have been going to see Sylvia( she is the only person I will see there for facials) she performs "magic" with her Chinese facial massage and friends and family always comment that I look 10 years younger when I see them. The manipulations and kneading and " Sylvia techniques" as I call them , seem to "erase' your wrinkles temporarily... I do wish it was permanent! She is a true specialist in Chinese acupressure and facial massage- I have not yet met any aesthetician who knows how to do what she does. I will not go anywhere else. Not a pleasant place to have facial massage. Their equipment is outdated, room is small and dark. Need to share room with other customer, cannot really get much relaxe and privacy. Couple times I heard my next bed person snoring loudly ( I understand this is not their fault at all). And their price is little bit higher than other facial store. 10 times facial package, they charge $700. Other stores charge about $550-$600. I went to 3 different stores to do my facial massage and compare. I don't feel much differences. I Do not recommend this massage center. This place is a waste of money!!! I went to get a facial, person giving my facial was friendly. before service was started I was told the price $78. I said your website says facials $50. She then said I need a longer service because I have black heads. I said ok. The cleaning started with her not washing her hands and cleaning my face,neck and chest with a cream and massaging my face and chest that was awful. It was rough and she kept slapping my chest and face. Blackhead removal, laser tool,mask, then she ask would I like a foot massage for additional $28. I decline. She left me in room for 40 minutes with the door open while she had men customers. Mind you I had no shirt or bra on under a towel. After 40 mins she came in wipes mask off. I said that's it. Im use to more things being done. She said that's the American way. Americans do to much. I said well Im a American and I like it the American way. I also said you advised me that I needed extra service. When I went to pay for service she then told me the service was $84. I said what!! She said its for tax. I went off and said there is no tax for this type of service. So then she told me I don't have to pay tax and when I come back she would give me a discount. read more
