    Egg drop soup
    Scott B.

Walking into Century Dragon I was sure I was about to have some great food. The decor and ambience of the restaurant is wonderful. Our waiter was also very attentive, poliete, and knowledgable. However the food ended up leaving a lot of be desired. The Egg drop soup tasted a bit off. I'm not even sure how to describe it besides eh, maybe a tad slimy? I'm just not certain but I didn't have a desire to finish it. My beef and broccoli was similarly underwhelming. No flavors really stood out in the meal. The egg roll might have been the best thing I had to eat. The Beef was just eh and the Broccoli was similarly lackluster. I had hoped this might be a new place to frequent but after my experience I will be passing on Century Dragon going forward.

Century Dragon in Burbank is one of my longtime favorite spots in LA--I've been coming here for about 10 years, and I'll still happily drive out from the South Bay just for their Orange Tofu. It's always perfectly crispy and easily one of the best versions I've had anywhere. This visit, we also ordered the Sautéed Green Beans, Fish Fillet with Black Bean Sauce, and the Salt & Pepper Pork Chops with garlic and jalapeños--everything was so flavorful and comforting. The menu is huge, and even though I keep coming back for the orange tofu, I'm excited to branch out and try more dishes next time. Consistently delicious and absolutely worth the drive!

Street parking available. The restaurant is small but has plenty of seating. The menu has all the expected dishes.' For a Chinese restaurant, they have a lunch special everyday except holidays. Serving size of portions were very filling and a great value. Ordered a bbq pork appetizer which was a good size shared dish. Soup was hot and savory. Lunch special came with soup, rice, spring roll and an array of entrees to choose from. I tried the shrimp in lobster sauce and the overall flavor was good, mixed the rice in to sauce. Husband ordered the orange chicken spicy it had flavorful but didn't get the waterworks running. The staff was friendly, and gave good recommendations. Overall found a nice new place to enjoy a good lunch at.

Man, a staple of Burbank. No matter how many times I come up here, have to go to this little bit of goodness every time! Smacks you with the deliciousness of the Asian cuisine. Service is always above and beyond when we go there. It's a small little nook with about a 8-10 tables and booths. If you love Asian food, gotta eat here.

Place is decent. I'd say average across the board. The breading on the lemon chicken fell off every time I picked it up. The lemon sauce was okay. They forgot to bring out the appetizer and started making it after I had my main dish in front of me. The server was kind but maybe a bit forgetful. I did enjoy the soup quite a bit. I got a lovely fortune. I'd never complain if I was forced to eat here but I would also never go out of my way to go here either. Average and that's alright!

The mixed vegetables was a large portion, which was great, however the beef and broccoli with slightly on the smaller side, which looked more like a lunch special as opposed to a dinner plate but overall, it wasn't bad! Atmosphere was pleasant and air conditioned. I'll go back!

Ordered the cream cheese wontons and orange tofu to go. Both were good. Staff was really nice. Did not dine in but seemed like a cozy place.

Anyway, went…read moreto Cabo a couple weeks ago and the tour guide recommended a Mariscos restaurant right next to the beach. I thought nothing of it as I've been to many other type of restaurants here in LA. All restaurants are the same, blah blah. I was completely blown away by the aguachile and I knew I needed to find something similar here. I loved it at Cabo because, the shrimp was 'raw' marinated with lime but still 'raw' I tried Vallarta and it was a huge disappointment. One day doom scrolling on Yelp and I found this place. Couldn't wait, had to give it a try and I nearly cried. Whenever food tastes amazing, I always clap because I'm applauding the chef. I'm applauding the food and I couldn't clap this time because I didn't want to put down the food. I got the medium sized aguachile, a pescado taco and a camaron taco. The flavor in the shrimp taco was unbelievable. The batter was so soft yet, crispy and the cabbage with the dressing was spot on! Next time, I'm definitely ordering 2 of each. The fish taco was super flaky, seasoned. Amazing. The aguachile, I regret getting the medium, I should've went all the way to large. Extra large if I could. Don't get me wrong, the portions are huge. I'm by myself and I made the aguachile last for 3 days. I would've eaten it in one sitting but, I have jaw issues and I couldn't continue. The tostadas they provided was amazing. I'm said there was no avocado but, luckily I had some at home. Even tho the shrimp was raw, it was juicy and delicious. The service was amazing as well. Workers inside the truck were so nice, offered a chair under a tree because it was sprinkling lightly lol. Anyways, I'm gonna go back this week and next week cause I can't stop thinking about it. Take it from this gringo, this is some good stuff!!

Dine LA Restaurant Week brought me in!…read more From the Dine LA dinner menu we ordered: wedge salad, and they were kind enough to substitute Gorgonzola instead of Kona for my dry aged NY strip. We also tried some additional appetizers: lobster and crab cakes and double cut smoked bacon. Both delicious. For beverages we tried: the doli, blackberry bourbon sidecar, and capital cosmopolitan. We also tried a glass of wine: DeLille Cellars, Chaleur Blanc. Every drink was amazing. Our server Halina took good care of us along with all of the staff there!

I was impressed with the upscale décor and overall "Men's Grill" steakhouse vibe. The food was generally good but nothing exceptional. We started off with the Caesar salad and the Boston clam chowder. Both were good but, again, nothing exceptional. We then ordered the steak frites and the seared salmon. The steak was perfectly cooked and came with the "stubs" of several russet potatoes. I guess we got the short end of the stick there. There was a really nice herbed mayonnaise sauce that came with the fries and another very good (pistachio?) sauce for the steak. My wife's salmon was decent and came with some broccolini and couscous. But neither dish entered the "fabulous" category. It was my birthday and we were presented with a lovely and very generous dessert of a fudge lava cake and crème Brule. Nice touch! The service was rather lackluster in that our waiter made several gaffs: he forgot about our drink order. He didn't offer fresh cracked pepper for the salad as he did for the table next to us. And he took away my plate before my wife was finished with her course. For a fine dining restaurant removing plates prematurely should never be done unless requested by the customer. But overall, for the price, this was an excellent value!
