I knew I would love it here.
Since it opened I've been wanting to visit. When I finally got that opportunity a few days ago, I was surprised to find it so small. Small but perfectly filled with beautiful, useful, well-made items. Like the gorgeous wooden ornaments I bought. Or funky door wedges. Or old school tin (or ceramic, made to look like tin- I didn't pick them up) tableware.
And terrariums and air plants! An exciting find.
All of this along with pastries and coffee and a lovely chatty owner who has a toddler and told me about the second location in Abbey Hill they're opening soon.
It's not cheap, but quality goods made by people who actually earn a wage will never be cheap. My only wish would be for a bigger general store with even more fun and exciting finds. read more
