Dec 2023 Century Insurance still cannot return phone calls. I have called three times and have asked for information from Angie. I have just gotten off the phone with a person from another agency. Enough is enough; I am moving my business. If I could take my one star away, I would. Early 2023 I was a customer of Lisa Nickels for YEARS. In over 10 years of service, I had one problem. When Lisa heard of my problem, she called me directly and we worked it out. Today, I need a quote for a simple renter's insurance policy for my mother in the retirement home. Jay said he was sending my request to underwriting 5 days ago. He hasn't responded to emails for an update. I called an insurance company I don't like and got a quote over the phone. It is sad to think that CIA wants to have a customer calling their competition, but that is where I am at, calling around to get some renter's insurance for my mom. I Do NOT recommend this agency unless you like having to wait 2 weeks for a requested quote. Its been 2 weeks and I still have not recieved information I requested. This isnt the first time (Or the second time.) Last time I had to contact them multiple times and it never got to the two week or beyond point since I stayed on top of them. After listening to Melanie's excuses I decided to stay with them and give them another try. She practically pleaded with me and made me feel like I was being unresonable regarding the wait time. Well, this time I feel like I have been plenty resonable. I have been with LNI for seven years and to wait 2 weeks is ridiculous! I have spoken to two other agencies and gotten auto quotes in less than 5 hours! I dont feel they shop quotes. Three months ago i requested renter's insurance. I was given one quote from my a company that would give me discounts on my auto insirance for bundling. Since I had been waiting for so long I had contacted abother agency who got me a better rate, even without the bundle. Only after i brought that to Melanie's attention did she shop around for me. Her failure to shop around would have cost me over $100 more for the same coverage. I dont feel she has my best interest in mind. I still never recieved life insirance quotes I requested back in April 2016 and again in June 2016. I'm done with LNI! read more
