The apartments themselves are beautiful. But we had so many issues here that it made our lives miserable. We had a neighbor below us constantly harassing us and banging her broom against the ceiling and screaming at us. The front office DID not handle the situation very well. We also were told we would be receiving a second floor apartment and both bathrooms would have bath tubs. When we were handed the keys on moving day and walked into our apartment it had one bath tub and the other bathroom had a shower. Not at all what we were shown or told. It also was a third floor apartment. We decided to end our lease in December and did a buy out agreement. We were told we would receive our deposit back shortly. It's now been 4 months and still no deposit has been sent to us. I have tried calling the office now 3 times in the two weeks with no response. read more

I've lived here for over four years, so clearly it's not an awful place. I had a couple of issues with the old management, but when Century took over, those went away. There have been some issues since Century took over, but they are usually quick to fix any problems. Pros: Nice looking community, solid amenities, good location Cons: Parking can be a hassle if you come home late, required trash valet service, which gets added to your base rent, wooden stairs which seem like a fire hazard and is also really loud when people go up and down read more

Terrible customer service from the front office. They constantly lie and say units aren't available, when they are. I'm extremely nice every time I call so they have no reason to lie to me. They charge a $350 per fee every time you want to transfer to another unit and a $400 transfer fee. Beautiful apartments but that's it. They promised a washer dryer and never got it. Reminded them multiple times. Anything maintenance??? Forget about it. Fix it yourself... a week late on rent ??? Add 200 dollars late fee.. two weeks late on rent ??? Add a court cost .. need extension for Christmas?? Forget about it !! Never again. read more

I love it! I signed my lease recently and don't regret a thing! The interior of the apartment is extremely clean and well kept. The exterior should be pressure washed but the grounds are well kept and the rent is decent for the amenities, size, location, and overall quality of the apartment. The office staff are very friendly and professional. I will more than likely be staying here until I purchase my next home. read more

I have to say that ever since the company Century took over the complex has gone downhill. Rates have increased, they don't include services in your rent payment so you get a surprise when you get your bill. They are tagging on extra amenities that will be required come next renewal. This is my 2nd lease and I will not be extending my lease further. I gave it 2 stars because the complex itself is beautiful and well kept however the company is not. I love living here at Plantation Pointe. So far I have been living here for 5 months and several of my neighbors have turned into my good friends. We all love using all of the amenities and sitting around the clubhouse with a bottle of wine. A five dollar Uber ride takes us to several restaurants in the area. I also feel very safe here which is super important to me. The staff that works here makes everyone feel very welcome and they throw resident events constantly. I love it! THIS IS HOW CENTURY PLANTATION POINTE HANDLES A PANDEMIC WITH RESIDENTS! BY INCREASING RENT OVER $100.00 per month. Look out for misworded addendums! This place will rip you off however they can. An you can forget being able to speak to anyone on the phone, let alone make an appointment to go in the office when they are closed before you get off work! Like you want to spend what little free time dealing with their mistakes! "Addendums" they sneak on to loyal residents who've lived there for over two years. They jacked the rent up over a 100.00 with things they NOW say they require even though the original renewal letter states that the rent will only increase by $15.00 if you renew two months early....trying to force cable/internet, even if you've never had it, never ask for it and DO NOT WANT IT. I would NEVER have renewed for another year had I known they were going to raise the rent 100.00 per month and force people to get internet/cable that don't want. I've been blessed to have been able to work through this entire pandemic I feel badly for residents that haven't been so lucky. Century Plantation Pointe says they want to keep their residents safe by leaving certain amenities closed and only offering office visits by apt yet they're not to scared to force residents to leave or move out that can't pay their rent on time...isn't that against the law during this pandemic? I have also put a request in online weeks ago as my refrigerator is leaking water everywhere, the icemaker hasn't worked in a month, the garbage disposal hasn't worked in a month and the dishwasher is worthless and just collects mold as it does not clean! What is the point of the online portal if the are NOT going to respond to it? Dustin and Kristen were the ONLY ones in that office that knew what they were doing and were always there to assist residents but whoever is running the office now has NO CLUE what they are doing. I hope everyone that has a lease renewal coming up remembers how this place treated them during this pandemic. If you are thinking of moving to Mooresville and need an apartment DO NOT LEASE HERE! Good luck Century Plantation Pointe. You want to rip off loyal residents???? I'll make sure everyone I know is aware of how you treat LOYAL residents during these unprecedented times. I really don't enjoying writing negative feedback but I can't help but give these apartments 1 star. I have lived here for 2 1/2 years and I was planning on renewing my lease again for a third year until the new company took over and turned the Plantation Pointe Apartments into Century Plantation Pointe. It started out with them raising the rent drastically. They weren't giving anyone a heads up with how much they were increasing the rent until you went to renew or give your notice for moving out. I live in a 1 bedroom and they wanted to increase my rent from $840 a month to $910 a month. They also started charging people for pet rent and added a valet trash pick up. Both cost $20 each. They changed the sign for the apartment to luxury apartments and I wouldn't mind paying that price for a luxury apartment but there is nothing luxury about them. They are normal apartments. They don't have washer/dryers included, they are lined with carpet and the appliance aren't the newest ones around. The valet trash pick up wouldn't be bad if they gave you an option to opt out of it. For me personally, I live close to the trash compactor and have no need to pay an extra $20 a month when I am capable of walking the 45 seconds to the trash compactor. The great thing about the previous owners was that they didn't charge people an extra amount of money for trash. It was all included with your rent price. They make you keep the trashcan in your apartment and you can't leave it outside your door otherwise you get a fine. They also tried to charge many people who weren't signed with them for the trash pick up, which they technically can't since most people's leases were signed with the previous company. They didn't mention that to people until they went up there to complain. They also no longer take care of the apartment complex. One of the main reasons why I chose Plantation Pointe when I first moved to Mooresville was because of how beautiful it was. It has a nice trail for dogs to walk and everything was always so nicely done. The previous owner had a crew of guys come out once or twice a week and do landscaping and they were incredibly kind. But now they don't care of anything. They haven't cut the grass once since they took over. The grass is started to get become overgrown everywhere expect the front. I live on the first floor & all the bushes surrounding my patio are dead and brown. They also never put the sprinklers on anymore which has made the grass in front of my patio turn a brownish color. There has also been an increase of ants and spiders. The stairs leading up to the apartments on the higher floors are covered in spider webs and spider eggs. I never had this problem with the previous company. They would clean the area around the stairs once a week. They also don't take care of the dog stations. They hardly ever replace the bags & the ones they replaced it with are so cheap, that they rip whenever you try to take one. They don't change the stations very often, which leaves a horrible dog poop smell. Since they don't replace the bags very often people often have to leave their dogs poop all around the station. There has been an increase of bugs around people's apartments lately and they don't have people come out to spray for them anymore. Unlike the previous owners, they would have someone every week spraying to bugs and snakes. They also take an extremely long time to come to your apartment to fix anything. One of the two new maintenance guys is very nice but they take about a week and a half to even come fix something. However, the previous owners would be at your apartment within hours to a day to fix anything you needed. The trail along the apartments towards the back always has dog poop all over it because there aren't ever any bags for people to pick up their dogs poop. I no longer take my dog over there or take walks because I never know if it will be covered with poop. I also wanted to mention that they didn't take care of anything when it snowed last month. When it snowed with the previous owners, they had people out there making sure the sidewalks and roads were completely cleared for people to walk/drive safely. Every day. Not just once. However, the new owners didn't have anyone come out to clear the sidewalks/roads. It was so icy that people couldn't even walk outside their apartments without slipping. They also put flyers up saying that people could leave their apartments at their own risks because they didn't want to hire anyone to clear the sidewalks/roads. After about 4 days of the icy sidewalks they put a tiny bit of salt out because so many people were complaining. Needless to say, I am moving out in a month. I wanted to give these new people a chance but time after time since they took over they just keep trying to screw over the people who have been there for years with hidden fees & rent increases. So many people are leaving that we have about 5 people moving out a week. read more

The ladies at the office host several events during out the year which is a really great way to interact with your neighbors & get to know them. Century Plantation Pointe is kid friendly, my toddler enjoys the amenities as well as I do. Awesome location very short distance to all the main restaurants & shopping centers! read more

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!! DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE! If there was an option to give this apartment complex ZERO stars, I WOULD! This place was great when we signed and moved in, but a new management company has taken over since then. They are AWFUL! Let me just entertain you for a minute with how awful: 1. It took them 4+ days to bring me an air filter (to which they admitted they "FORGOT about"). That is the easiest maintenance order I've ever heard of, not to mention simple. I saw them come in and out of my building on a couple of those days, but they couldn't seem to drop an air filter off. I didn't even care if I had to install it myself, but at least drop it off! 2. Hidden/Lied FEES: They FORCED us all to get this new trash service. They sent out a letter announcing it and saying that we would NOT be charged for it until one renewed their lease. WELL, what do you know?! This is the first month of rent since, and we ARE being charged for it! 3. We had an issue removing a piece of furniture from our home to bring in a new piece. We asked if we could barrow a dolly for a max. of 20 mins. to lift it. They said ok and then walked away...never returning with the dolly. We called the office and they refused to let us barrow it. 4. They will slap notices and charges on your door while you're away and never even call to let you know there has been an issue. There are probably 4 different people in our building area who smoke cigarettes. They people on the first floor complained about cig butts being on the ground. We got a notice for it without even being asked if it was us. We rarely smoke at all, and when we do, we have an ashtray that is emptied regularly. But we were never asked, so...there went that. 5. They took away the hoses for the car wash station. I called and asked if they would bring one down there and they told me no because it was winter time. OK, BUT IT WAS 70 DEGREES. 6. Shaina (spelling?) in the office is awful! Every single time we interact with her, via phone or in person, she has the WORST attitude of anyone I've ever met. And for heaven's sake, don't tell her your work order, because she is notorious for not even putting them into the queue. 7. When it snowed: So, we randomly got over a foot of snow at the beginning of January. A few days went by (and the office was definitely open) and they never came around to make sure walkways were clear or anything. Well, for someone like me, that is not an issue. HOWEVER, there are a lot of elderly people living here and they could easily fall and get hurt very badly! Also, we have a man on the first floor who is permanently in a motorized wheelchair. He couldn't get out at all. So, I called them and asked when or if they were going to think about their residents and what their plan of action was for these issues. They told me that they weren't doing anything (essentially that it's not their problem - which if you're still reading, you'll see that this attitude is a trend). This list could easily go on and on... I don't know what it is about these people, but they are the most UNHELPFUL, UNWILLING, UNPREDICTABLE management company I've ever lived under. Please, I am begging you not to sign your lease here! You will be stuck and miserable! We are stuck until October, and definitely counting down the days. We have already decided on our next residence and are literally just waiting this out. read more
