After decades with Spectrum and extortionary costs, along with dismal in town (Appleton) speeds…read more(contrary to what they advertise), we finally switched to TDS. Our monthly cost have gone from $250/ month to $50 a month which is guaranteed for 2 years. We still get all the streaming services as before (using Roku stick for both services.) Best of all our internet speed has gone from 60-75 Mbs to 500 Mbs upload as tested with a speed tester. What's really unbelievable is that we waited so long to do this. And having to going in to the Spectrum store in Appleton (which is mandatory to discontinue the service) we did not complain and were friendly, being happy to be rid of this costly and terrible internet speed service. The agent on the other hand looked like he was a ticking time bomb ready to explode at any second. Even though it was a terrible visit experience, we were just as happy coming out of the store as going in, being relieved at having made this switch.

If there was a way to express my anger through the screen right now, i would. the internet provides the bare minimum and is equivalent to trying to use internet on an airplane. you would have better luck literally not buying an internet package from them at all. In fact, i can speak on behalf of my family and friends who have nothing good to say about spectrum. as a longtime customer, we keep getting more and more disappointed. i hope the company feels great about their shitty slow network.
