It's a 4 star strictly for the way it looks. You're absolutely immersed in 90's memories as soon as you walk in. The colors are bright red, green, yellow and blues. There's a fun Cereal photo op before you walk inside the cafe doors. The selection of cereal, although vast, it wasn't much that I haven't seen before. I was hoping for some bizarre or very rare cereals. I got a latte with fruit loops milk which basically just tasted like coffee with a few fruit loops on top. We also got two variety packs which is a selection of 8 cereals that you pick in itty bitty tiny bowls. My husband also got a large bowl of Trix. All this for almost 40 bucks. I get the gimmick but the price is still super high for just cereal. The setup is tight! Twin day beds to relax and eat a bowl of cereal on with bedsheets like looney toons, small old school TV'S playing save by the bell and so much amazing 90's music. However it was disappointing from the start as the service was awful (the lady at the register was just plain rude as I asked a few questions) and the pricing was SO not worth it. 7 euros for literally a bowl of cereal and then an additional 2.50 for a scoop of icecream on top. Like I said, I'm a huge cereal and icecream fan so I've been to many cereal/icecream cafes in the US that we're FAR superior. Pretty insane concept - but incredibly brilliant- Pick a cereal any cereal add milk - perhaps chose from some of the crazy combinations; Unicorn Poop (fruit loops, sparkly flakes, marshmallows with bubblegum milk!) I had heard of this cereal bar through possibly buzzfeed or a foodie Facebook post.. I knew I had to try the cereal ice cream, it was soo freaking good, the scoop felt a bit small. So good I actually returned on my last night in England but it had already closed. Also apparently from the way a woman and her obnoxious kids were stopped as they attempted to rush in, you can only look / sit inside once you've made a purchase. Seeing the novelty retro 80s toys, pop culture, and collectors items makes it worth going to just to look at it all as if a museum but with beds as tables. Adorable small cafe near my the Camden Market. To find it, you have to go a little down the stairs and to the left. I got a Sticky Monkey 'cocktail' which was basically a pimped up cereal bowl. There were bananas and reeses pieces and some other stuff in it, but I loved the banana milk! It really ties the whole thing together. The interior of the place is amazing, I really appreciate it since I'm a 90s baby. There were toys hung on the wall. There was an arcade wrestling game. There were colorful milk crates stacked on top of each other to divide the room. There were cereal boxes on the wall and vintage everything inside. The tables look like school desks. A cafe dedicated to cereal tugs at my mid-30's heartstrings, especially since they've managed to dredge up & display (empty) boxes of discontinued flavors (like the Mr. T cereal I spotted once & never again.) These days I'm more likely to tuck into a bowl at midnight rather than in the early, sleepy hour before school, but my fondness for cereal hasn't lessened over time. An overwhelming list of toppings & even milk types had me perusing their Cereal Cocktails, ready-made concoctions that alleviated the decision between healthy or marshmallowy, fruity or chocolatey. Shooty Shooty Bang Bang caught my eye: Krave cereal, Milky Way magic stars, popping chocolate candy, & white chocolate milk. The menu listed Nutella, which I 86'ed in place of Oreos. Chocolatey and sweet, but not intensely so, a medium size was sufficient. You know what I'm going to go with for this review? over-hyped Yup. I said it. It's not worth it. Here's the problem - the food was stale and the service was surly. The cereal NEEDS milk - because it's hard as a rock if you don't soak it and LET it soak for at least five minutes. The dishes took so long to get to us most of the ice cream had halfway melted - they plate them, leave them on the counter and deliver as an after thought five minutes later. Overpriced and not as special as people make it out to seem, the seating area is kind of cool though. There are a few locations so if you found out about this through instagram I would check the location pictures before deciding on which one. This one had a nice seating area with beds as booths and a a nice cereal backdrop which is nice for photos. The shop is aesthetically pleasing but be prepared to pay a lot for a bowl of cereal that will be soggy by the time you finish your pictures. Deep within Camden is a little bit of Shoreditch at Cereal Killer Cafe. I have to admit this is only my first time at this hipster place. Even though I have passed by the Brick Lane branch many a time. Cereals, bowls of cereals at that, for the price of a box you can get at a supermarket? Hmmm sceptical. Well, I came, I saw, I conquered. Stacked salted caramel hot chocolate. Repeat. STACKED SALTED CARAMEL HOT CHOCOLATE. How to smack some sense into any mid week with the motherload of sweetness. I've been dying to go to this place after I read about it online years ago, so I was delighted when I happened to find myself in the neighborhood last week. Long story short, it was amazing, and exceeded my expectations! First of all, what a brilliant idea. Cereal is under-appreciated. And sometimes you just don't want to commit to the whole box. So I love the idea that you can come get a bowl of basically any type of cereal you can imagine (and some you can't), and/or a single (toasted) Pop-Tart, with the milk of your choice. Sign me up! What really puts this place over the top, however, is the "cereal cocktails", which are basically pre-designed mixes of different cereals and toppings. So. Good. I tried the "sticky monkey" (toffee crisp cereal, banana, whipped cream, crushed digestive, toffee sauce, and banana milk - except they were out of banana milk, so I subbed in creme brûlée milk), which was delicious, and the "double rainbow" (froot loops, trix, freeze dried marshmallows, and strawberry milk), which tasted exactly like childhood in a bowl. We also got a cookies and creme Pop-Tart on the side. Overall, amazing. Plus, the decor is so much fun. If you're even remotely close, definitely make the trip! read more

I've had this placed bookmarked for a while now and for my birthday Eurotrip I finally got to experience the magic. 1st things 1st, you can't enter the back unless you purchase something. I got a cereal milkshake topped with fruity pebbles and raspberry syrup. It was tasty and filling (and on the small side). Would probably have given this place 3.5/5 stars before my experience today. The food is exactly what you'd expect, cereal with toppings. It's wildly overpriced but can be a fun time if they happen to have a cereal that's not easy to get your hands on. I've been before and the service was fine, but it was absolutely shocking this time. The waitress brought the wrong food over and unloaded it before realizing it was the wrong table (they do give you VHS cases that match your receipt so they know where to deliver the order). This happens everywhere, all the time, not a big deal at all, and my sister was trying to figure out if this was her food, if they had gotten the order wrong, etc. It didn't even take 10 full seconds for this to unfold, and nobody at our table said anything as it wasn't obvious to us that she had delivered the wrong order (bowls of cereal can only look so different, and we had the VHS case on the table so she would know which order was ours). After the waitress realized her tiny mistake that none of us were bothered by, she snapped that we should've said something and stormed off with the tray. We were all so surprised that we didn't say anything. Taking food to the wrong table is such a non-issue, we wouldn't have cared at all if she had said "whoops, I have the wrong table, will be back soon with yours." When she came back with the correct food, she rudely remarked that next time that happens, we should say something, and continued to grumble under her breath as she walked away. We didn't say one word to this woman the entire time we were there, it was so bizarre. I've never been in a situation where the server was so rude to my party after absolutely zero provocation. Super weird, won't be coming back here on my future trips to London. read more

I went here based on a recommendation. I think the idea of bringing back all of your favorite childhood cereals is crazy cool. I also liked that the seating area was really eccentric; however, it was also very small. I would not recommend going in big groups because a spot is hard to come by. The seating areas are pretty cool, one area even had a child's bed to sit on. Overall, I liked it! If you're looking for something to do then put a smile on your face and might be the most delicious spot in London, try the serial killer cafe. Absolutely amazing. And must see in London especially if you're going to Camden market. So nostalgic and delicious and there surprises in every inch of this place. They have great coffee. Great cereals obviously. This was the first place we stopped at once we arrived in London. If you are a cereal lover this is definitely the place to come to. This location is a small one located in Camden Market and they don't offer as much variety as the one on Brick Lane. I thought the concept of this place was cool and wanted to try it out. I ordered the shooty shooty bang bang. It was very sweet and chocolatey. I liked the white chocolate milk that it came with. I would suggest this place more as a dessert place rather than a breakfast because of the sugary cereals and the toppings. It's exterior is a wall of cereals, from local British cereals to the "imports" that I grew up with in America. You can choose from a mere quantity of 120 cereals, 30 types of milk (strawberry, banana, chocolate, etc) and 20 toppings to create a tailor-made glucose-indused bowl of happiness. Or, they also have a menu of cereal cocktails from Unicorn Poop to Chocopottomus to Peanut Butter Jelly Time, inspired by the genius of the owners themselves. You can sit and watch Clarissa Explains it all with your Popples bowl, or sit on a bed with Garfield covers while you shovel spoonfuls of sugary goodness into your mouth. I let out an audible squeal a few times at their 80's memorabilia - like those metal lunch trays with characters on them. I had a Rainbow Brite one. That was my sh*t. And Popples. Holy crap, they brought me back. Call them hipsters if you want to. But you can't knock them for their business concept. They've left no detail out and they've created an entire experience around it, complete with hard-to-find imports, tube TVs and memorabilia. Hats off to these guys, man. All my friends and fam in San Francisco were jealous and said how they wished they could come here. I have never seen anything like that in my country. The athmospere is amazing, since the entrance you are surrounded by cereal boxes of all colours, sizes and flavours. You have to choose different type of cereals, toppings and milk. Once you get it you can go outside or inside whereas there is a room where there are beds with cartoon bed sheets and tables among them, a wrestling console, many pictures, showcases and colourful cases with small televisions. Ever since I heard about this place, I was dying to try it. I finally got the chance on my honeymoon. Once we landed, we got our rental car and headed straight to this cafe. The first impression was awesome. Creative decorations with VHS tapes, nice variety of cereal, the line wasn't too bad. The wait time to order was about 15 min. We got our VHS cover (as the order indicator) and picked out a twin bed to sit at. We were enamored with all the posters and knick knacks they had. Our nostalgia excitement died off little by little as we waited an hour. An hour wait time for two bowls of cereal. We even saw somebody who ordered after us receive their order before us and the group who ordered ahead of us were done with their four bowls of cereal before we got ours. My friend and I were in London for a two day vacation, and read that the Cereal Killer Cafe was a must see. So we trekked to Camden to go see what all the hype was about. The cafe itself is pretty cool. The wall is lined with old cereal boxes, and the rest of the cafe is filled with TVs from the 90s, VCRs and old video games. You really do feel like you've stepped into the late 90s or early 2000s. Unfortunately, I can't say the cereal is unremarkable. Granted, there's not too much you can actually do with cereal, so it is cool to try a mix of cereals with different flavors of milk and various toppings (for a pretty steep price). The positive is that the cafe is in an awesome neighborhood where so much is happening, so if you happen to be roaming the Camden market it's not the worst place to stop! I don't think i'd go back, but I certainly don't regret going. read more

Ahhhh this place is awesome! I came here for the pre-snaphappen Mashable snapchat event and the space is perfect for groups - large and small. They have a faux grass area with deckchairs, as well as multiple tables inside and out. There are even beds to sit on here. They have an old school arcade machine and cool quirky cereal themed decor - not that I've ever thought about cereal themed decoration being cool but they managed it. The atmosphere is just fun and it's somewhere I will definitely hang out again. Now as for the cereal - you're completely spoilt for choice. There's an entire wall of cereals, well 3 to be exact, though all the boring english cereals are tucked away to the left because who wants one of those ;) I had a peanut butter crunch and it was awesome! Not only is there a great selection of cereal but also milk and toppings. Want mint milk with strawberries and whipped cream peppered with magic stars on yours? You got it. Honestly, go wild.
