If you are around the area, this is a cool little place where you can find nice ski slopes. Nothing too fancy like the Alps but it is very close to both sides of the mountains... still in the Reggio Emilia's province. Not much snow, and can be quite icy... melts soon so the season is quite short. The village, Cerreto Laghi, offers all you need to rent you ski equipment and also some good restaurant.
