We recently moved to the Keys into our new construction home. Our kitchen appliances are all one brand, purchased from a big box store. Problems occurred with 4 of the appliances at different times, all under warranty. Horrible!!!! I attempted to schedule a repair on my 2019 side by side Kitchenaid refrigerator that was not cooling. I was told the earliest appointment would be well into March....4 weeks away! They only drive out here one day a week. We are 20 miles from their store. I learned this only after waiting all morning for a service scheduled on the Kitchenaid web site. So how many *weeks* should it take to replace fridge door seal? Absolutely horrible attitude, asinine 'policies', don't communicate, slow as a glacier, and if something goes wrong (like they bring the wrong part) it's somehow the customer's fault and no sense of urgency to fix. Called Kohlhage's and they got it squared away faster than Certified could respond. Then after they were informed we wouldn't continue the nonsense with them, Certified wanted to charge a 'restock' fee. Even though they were supposed to call to verify it's availability and delivery date, and did not. Totally snarky and rude, and parts manager only available after hours. So if anything goes wrong, you're guaranteed to lose another day before a resolution is even started or discussed. The worst experience ever, they clearly could care less. Just run away... read more

Great company friendly, knowledge show room staff, had the washer/dryer I wanted at a great price. Then came the delivery & it was outstanding , I can't say enough about the guys & their work. I live in a typical Key West townhouse. Narrow stairs with two sharp turns. Oh & I have bamboo stairs. Cesar and Harrison realized the difficulty and with one phone call two other men arrived in less than 10 minutes. It was a struggle getting the old unit out but handled with great care and no damage to stairs. The new unit was installed in a short time. My Kenmore refrigerator died after only 2 1/2 years. I called Certified Appliance and Jesse was out in 2 days. He told me the truth about these particular refrigerators made in Korea, as he had replaced many condensers, over and over. He sent me a loaner refrigerator while I waited for a Maytag. He delivered and installed plus added a water line to the fridge. He and his helper worked well together. If anything goes wrong, they will fix I was pleased with honesty, the call prior to arriving, excellent work ethic, and good customer service 5 stars read more

If there were a NEGATIVE 5 star review, that's what I would be using. I had an appliance repair ticket for a Samsung refrigerator assigned to this company back on 3/24/2021, and they have yet to contact me or respond to any messages left or scheduling requests to complete the service. I have left multiple messages with their receptionist with promises that they will return the call, and they never do. It's now the middle of May, and Home Depot had to reassign the ticket to another company, and they showed up promptly, assessed the situation and ordered parts next day air which arrived in 2 days and the technician is returning this week to complete the installation. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have had with a repair company as a result of an in-store warranty/repair service purchased with an appliance. I've reported this to Home Depot in the hopes that they discontinue use of this vendor as a repair service provider, because it reflects very badly on Home Depot when a customer purchases a repair/replacement plan from their store and their vendors take over 2 months of the customer's time and still NEVER perform the repair service. read more

Ran into problems with a Samsung fridge that's four years old. Certified replaced parts on the fridge but I was just not comfortable with the way the fridge was holding temp so I got Certified to replace with same exact fridge (space limitations). They did everything possible to repair and were so punctual. Great price on new fridge, install, etc. and treated me very fairly on repair bill for the work they did prior to my decision to replace. Several of my friends up in Marathon area have used. All say they are the very best they have ever dealt with. My go to on any appliance repair from now on. read more

Possibly the worst service and experience I've ever endured in 15 years of property management. Sears contracted them to install my washer dryer, upon arrival they immediately told me they couldn't get it up the stairs, I just had a fridge installed recently with no problems. Upon me saying that they said we have done every Sears installation for 15 years, I said well I've been having Sears install appliances in 6 properties for 15 years, and we have never met. They stopped complaining and of course it was not an issue getting it up one flight of stairs, then they only hooked up the hot water, threw my dryer vent hose in the wall, did not connect anything up to the vent. I had to hire a plumber to hook up the cold water and he alerted me to the fact that the entire inside of my wall was filled with lint and could catch fire anytime! This is the last time I will ever purchase anything from Sears if they hire this company. Also, before this I needed my dishwasher fixed, they gave me an estimate of $130. They never called before they came, even though I called the office 3 times about it, they said they fixed the dishwasher, they didn't, when I went to run it after being told it was fixed, water went everywhere!! I had to hire another appliance company to fix it. All the while, they are invoicing me $180 for no work done, downright harassment. I called the owner and told him what happened to stop the invoices an constant calls, he yelled over me at the top of his lungs trying to explain their deceptions, which he can't, so I hung up, as I don't deal with grown adult men screaming at me. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! Affordable applaiance fixed the dishwasher in 20 min for $130! Thank god there are some real professionals down here to pick up the slack for this horrible company! read more

Love these guys! I scheduled them to install a microwave and dishwasher and when they arrived I only had them install the microwave because my dishwasher was not ready. They were in and out in 15 minutes and Caesar really is one of the nicest guys I've ever met working in this field. They also came back to install my dishwasher and helped me install my washer/dryer set which I sprung on them last minute. In the keys it's hard to find good people and when you do, they are busy. It's better to wait for good people. This company does their best to manage a busy company and helped me out tremendously! read more

We were in Big Pine spending 2 weeks at a friend's Home when the washer malfunctioned. We googled appliance repair in the area and Certified came up at the top. We were very impressed from the very first phone call. We had to wait a few days for the repairman because they only come up this direction once a week. When Jesse and James came they determined it would cost more to repair the machine than to replace it. Therefore the owner of the home purchased a new machine from them and Jesse and James came back the following day and installed it. Top notch service. I would highly recommend them? read more

On time arrival and quality service and advice Tony Roberts was the service tech, he arrived on time was clean and professional. He took time to listen to our explanation of the problem asked a few questions and went to work, this was an Ice maker overflowing and freezing up the supply line and sometimes dripping down the back and having the bottom full of ice. After looking around he determined it was a small fill reservoir at the top where the fill tube was connected to the ice tray that was freezing up; he showed us what it was and how to clear it. He did not try to sell us an expensive water valve or an even more expensive ice maker. He suggested we wait and see if this resolved the issue before moving on to expensive repairs. He spoke very highly of his boss and company and expressed how much he enjoyed working for them. It is a sad thing that few people feel this way any more. I was impressed with the service and do recommend them as being honest and quick. I cannot speak to their expertise as he made it seem simple but the honest part goes a long way with me. read more

They are absolutely horrible...them and the warranty companies they work with. We were there on vacation for 10 days and our drier was broken. We called the warranty company and they said they couldnt get someone out there for two weeks. Then this company (certified appliance) had an opening and also told us they'd have the parts on the truck (at that time we had started taking the drier apart because we needed it fixed before we left). We didnt put the drier back together because we wanted to save the Technician that time. Technician came, and as you might guess did not have the parts but said he'd order and return and repair so we left the door unlocked for them. A week goes by and no call....WE finally get in touch with them to have them tell us since we started to disassemble the drier they would not do the warranty work because of "liability concerns". This was a freaking 2 year old GE drier that gets used maybe 35 times a year and the bearings were shot and this company says they cant fix it because of liability concerns but they are supposed to be the repair experts. Avoid these idiots at all costs....you think you are doing them a favor by helping to disassemble the unit so they can get in and out faster but instead they use it against you...no good deed goes unpunished. read more

First appt between 8 - 12, they said wasn't on their schedule so rescheduled for next day between 1 -5. They showed up between 8 -12 while I was out ( odd that was the time they were supposed to come the day before). Had to have a friend go let them in. They said they fixed the problem. When I got home the appliance had a whole new problem and wouldn't work at all. Called them back and they said we won't be back in you area for another week. I've had Certified come for repairs on my washer/dryer before and they did a great job. I didn't realize until recently that they also sell appliances. I have a difficult space to fit a refrigerator into. They searched until they found one with all the features I wanted that fit. Debbie in the office is patient and helpful. Caesar was in charge of the delivery and not only did they get the refrigerator into my little Conch house without hurting the house or the fridge, they stayed to show me all the features, and they wheeled the old one up the street to the neighbor who wanted to use it outside. Shopping local at Certified got me all the benefits I could have hoped for. read more
