He lied to 4 about this situation. His behavior was completely unacceptable and unwarranted. I highly recommend to not do business with him unless you want to be verbally abused. Chris took his time, used his own supplies (longer screws) to make them fit right and secure. The shop is very clean and well organized. Rich said that the car seemed to be in good shape and if we weren't having any other issues, his recommendation was to fix it. After we pick up the car, he tells us that the muffler has some holes in it but thinks maybe they can be welded. Upon taking the car to a muffler shop, we're shocked to learn that the crossmember (underneath the car) is completely rusted with several holes. The new shop cannot believe that a reputable transmission shop put a new transmission into this car, as it's unsafe to drive and the engine can fall out at anytime. I reached out to Rich last week via text to allow him the opportunity to respond before posting this review. When I picked up my vehicle at the end of October, I was happy and ready to write a 5 star review. I had no idea we had been swindled.

I pulled in the lot a half hour before they open (open at 7:30am). Even in a blizzard, there are folks lining up outside the door 10+ minutes before they open. With a handicap, you might not be able to stand in line for 20 minutes. It would be a great thing to have some number system or way to make an appointment (where that doesn't evolve into a half day thing for an oil change). 2. The parking lot is always choked full of cars. And driving in circles to find a spot isn't the easiest in this lot. Still, this is a great place in terms of value and quality of work.

There was a clean sitting area, an organized 3 car garage, and the owner was humble and respectful. Though it was only an oil change, he fixed a switch panel in my Mercedes (which needed for him to have some McGyver skills, which I lack, lol), gave it some Mobil1, and changed some bulbs for a very reasonable price. I am sitting here for brakes and rotors on my truck, and completely trust him and his mechanics with not just my Benz, but also all the other vehicles my family own. Anyways, I had experienced some trans slipping around 130k on my 2013 civic. He suggested getting a product called Dr. Tranny by lubegard (got it on amazon) for him to add after the drain and fill.
