Is really really small and maybe a rearrangement of the tables would be a good idea. We order some vermuts and tapas (olives, anchovies and bombas), and I have to say that were delicious and the prices are really good. I think the boss is called Jordi, and he was helpful and he knows what he is doing. A couple a days later I went back with some friends and he was very helpful giving directions to a couple of restaurants. I have to say that it is a place that I will recommend and I will go again.

For starters we shared nachos with chili and cheese, burritos and a chicken salad. The cheese for the nachos was bizarrely artificial looking and the salad was dressed with a big chunk of mayonnaise on top (we had to carefully remove it and ask for some oil and vinagre). The burritos were just fine (which was a big improvement from the starters). Our main dishes were two big burgers with cheese and salad. That was the best part of the meal. For drinks they served us a tiny 200ml bottle of soda which was gone before we had even started with the main dishes, forcing us to order some bottles of water (33cl now). You can find better Mexican restaurants in Barcelona for much better prices.

However it's the great music that kept us there because it was rare cuts of rockabilly and as it turns out, the owner is a psychobilly guy. Very friendly guy who invited us to come out to a late bar with him after we closed the bar down. Oh, and the mini croquetas off the tapas menu were great. Not expensive. We drank beer but the cocktails looked great and huge and the liters of sangria were 10€. I'll definitely come back when I return to BCN.

The experience has always been extraordinary. The moment you walk in, you take in the beautiful décor. Then the staff welcomes you with expert service. There is a menu of their unique cocktails, of which you have no idea of how you are about to be presented with this special creation. The cocktail itself is outstanding, but it is presented in manner that immediately causes you to grab your phone for a photo. Gift boxes, disco balls, unicorns and balls that disintegrate before your eyes! I love watching other customers as they are served their drinks. And also fun to watch the bartender preparing these wonderful drinks. Plata Bar is great for groups of friends and for singles. You can meet other customers from around the world as well as locals who can give you advice on what to do and see while in their beautiful city. I'm already planning my return to Barcelona and am looking forward to seeing what new drink creations have been added to the menu.
