Our waiter, Gabriel, was so kind and quite funny. He took care of my mother and I for our brunch. The service was great! My mother and I stopped by on a whim. It was great that they had spots on the patio for us to enjoy the view of the beach. We will be back again and my mother says she will ask for Gabriel again :)

The food was amazing and the drinks were really good thanks to Gabriel for the wonderful service. Will definitely come back and have breakfast here next time.

Really great outdoor beach view if you are looking for a brunch location with friends or moms for Mother's Day. So many choices on their menu and everything was delicious. Service was also great. We had nice conversations with the staff. Get free mimosas on certain breakfast items. Check the menu. Cheers!

Loved the view and attentive service. I initially came in for just a glass of wine on outdoor patio and to go quiche from their fresh bakery (which by the way has the best views of any other restaurant on the water in Laguna), but I stayed for French onion soup and dessert, coffee. This was a good decision! I watched the sunset and felt the rest of the work day melt away. Highly recommend this restaurant. It's a staple in Laguna for several decades. Glad it's maintained its charm and authentic food. I'll continue coming back!

Beautiful bakery case and a killer view make this an excellent stop for breakfast or baked goods off PCH in Laguna Beach. Near Main Beach, there's a large dining room or an adorable patio off the back with ocean views where you can sit with your breakfast or brunch. We've eaten here many times and while the food for sit down is a bit expensive for what you get, it's the price of admission for this area. We stopped in recently for baked goods and got a jelly-filled black and white cookie for Valentine's Day that was tasty. Their breakfast burrito is also a solid choice. Love that you can see part of the bakery case from the front window. Pop in and try a baked good and see what you think, quick and friendly service make it a regular stop for us.

Great food, service and a view...what more do you need? Oh, housemate pastries and baked goods maybe...First time at C'est la Vie and I'm a lifelong fan. I love the indoor decor and the beautiful patio with an ocean view. I'm the food was delicious and the service was fanatic!! 0 complaints.

We came for breakfast at C'est La Vie and it was such a beautiful experience. The view of the beach alone made it worth it--peaceful, bright, and the perfect way to start the morning. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made everything feel even more welcoming. The food was so yummy--I had the Laguna breakfast with eggs and Polish sausage scrambled, and it was delicious. The bread they served was soft, warm, and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. The coffee was great too, which always matters for a good breakfast spot. Definitely a place I'd come back to for both the food and the view.

Really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was great, the drinks were just as good, and the atmosphere was fun without feeling too loud. We were especially impressed with the pineapple cocktail it was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive all afternoon, and Rett made sure everything was taken care of. Looking forward to coming back.

We visited this wonderful spot while checking out Laguna Beach. They had balcony seating that overlooked the beach. The weather was great and the food was even better..

French food never disappoints. Came here for Valentine's Day and the view of the sunset over the beach was magical. The food is incredible, perhaps the best French onion soup I have ever had. Portions are good and everything is beautifully presented. Staff are very hard working and friendly. The bakery has so many different options and everything tasted great. The interior is large and they have upstairs outdoor patio seating.

Fantastic patio with ocean views. Super friendly staff. Gabriel especially was welcoming. The best waiter. Delicious food and drinks. Free (limited) parking behind the restaurant. This was my first time here but I will totally be back.

Gabriel is very attentive and the food was amazing, not to mention the awesome view. The breakfast is as always very delicious.

I liked it a lot, especially the tech house, I think all of the DJs that come here do tech house only. The only thing I didn't like was the people who make their way into the audience but then they just stand there and don't dance. If you are going to push your way towards the front and disrupt everyone's flow and rhythm just to stand there and take up space, that's very annoying. Go stand in the back if you aren't going to dance.

The escargot a favorite of ours. Re-used shells ok whatever but at least put a bigger piece of meat in there. The shells were filled with oil and some greens but the meat of the "escargot " was a little bit bigger than a pea! The fresh bread was great. Salad Endive - ehh chunks of ham??? Couldn't parent it better or just cheap meat? Steak was very tough. I had to spit a part out bc of the sinew. Then the frozen garlic butter hockey puck!! How do you expect people to put this or use this when it's frozen solid? The meat isn't hot enough to melt it. Overall you need to do better. Won't be coming back anytime soon unfortunately!

It's disappointing to see employees spoken to in such a manner. No one deserves to be treated disrespectfully while doing their job. especially from the business owner.
