Was craving coffee after running an errand and oh my goodness! Happy I decided to come here. This place used to be a different coffee shop - not sure when CFS took over, but happy they did. The decor is super cute, plenty of spots to sit, and very welcoming. The lady who took our order was super kind and patient. She had recommended the pistachio latte and it did not disappoint. Incredibly long wait times, very slow staff with no want to live. Overpriced and underwhelming

I like this cafe more than the one that was here previously (which was cozy and popular, but the food/drinks weren't good quality). The new decor is really nice -- lots of natural light from the big window... wood and white brick interior with a few Latin touches. They have a fantastic tres leche cake, with a top layer that has a bit of lime. You must try it! I don't drink coffee, so I order their chai latte -- aware that I'm missing out on their main specialty of Colombian coffee. It's fine, quite sweet... I think they use a bit of condensed milk in it, but I'm not sure. They served it in a pretty folkloristic cup. I like chai that's a bit spicier, but it's better than the previous place. The staff is young, polite and attentive without being overly amiable and fuzzy. read more

They are sooooo SLOW!!! And overpriced, it is not worth the hype. The place is cute but the wait time to get your food it's unreal. I am currently waiting for my food as I write this review. The barista keeps running around in circles with nothing in her hands! From the moment I walked in, I loved the ambiance of this place. I loved all the inspirational quotes and the decorations. Welcoming to those who want to study/work and those who want to enjoy the coffee and food ! I think they have one of the best pistachio lattes which came in this Columbian mug. I came here because I heard it was a nice place to study and it did not disappoint! This cafe is cute and cozy! We ordered the Caprese omelette and Açaí bowl and they were both delicious and presentable. We also ordered the chai and doppio espresso and they were both so good. I chose this cute little coffee shop because Panera in Oakbrook is just wayyyyyy too loud. But, here the atmosphere was so relaxing. I could work in peace. Also had a meeting here and could hear what the other person was saying. I drink black coffee mostly so I really enjoyed the taste of their roast. Such a cute gem near the highway in oak Brook. This place offers such a cozy and warm environment - theres a large painting when you go in the door and then tables sporadically setup inside. They have a large array of desserts (and tasty looking ones too) and full coffee menu. The staff were super kind, answering questions and such. I met a friend here but also seems to be a great place if you're looking for somewhere quiet to work. Definitely recommend coming in to check this place out! read more

Five stars for great coffee (I had a large latte), comfy setup, and nice staff. However, I did not like my yuca waffle. It was sticky and chewy, the consistency of a gummy bear. The place was very full and people seem to be enjoying their food, so I will be back and I will try something else. read more

I can not stop thinking about the delicious Arepa de Choclo I had here (sweet corn filled with mozzarella cheese). Their Dulce de Leche Cappuccino was so delicious too. First time trying this new restaurant. Stopped in for lunch and ordered the protein bowl w grilled chicken (balsamic dressing). Very very flavorful, excellent black beans, rice and avocado. My wife is the coffee drinker and was very impressed. Easy parking. Nicely designed room. I gave four stars only because we have not tried the other dishes. I am sure it will be a 5 star review after we try some other items. There are several sister restaurants in Orlando and one in Oak Brook. Wonder what drove that decision? read more

This place was really cute but the food was HORRIBLE. I got the calentao bowl and my friend got the waffle. Let me tell you this waffle will give me nightmares for the rest of my life. The way that it smells worse than any funeral home I have ever been. It will haunt me till my death. The the stretch of the waffle is something your eyes will never want to witness. Please keep your eyes pure like mine were before I saw this. It would've been OK if I could've spit it into something, but the napkin was the size of my pinky finger. Not to mention it was $30. The bowl looked deceivingly good until you tried to break yolk and some weird brown film came of the bottom, I have never had to exercise more strength to not absolutely hurl all over my plate. If you are having a bad day and really want to just push yourself over the edge, please come here. Service is very mediocre. Baristas were not particularly friendly lr helpful. Coffee was presentable but the flavor I ordered (pistachio) was hardly noticeable. Medium hot drink size is only about 8 oz... why?! I measured it when I finished it really quickly which isn't the case for me. Glad I did so I knew I wasn't wrong! Good, fresh food, especially the breakfast sandwiches...service was very slow (~20 min wait after ordering for 2 sandwiches + oatmeal), but they seemed to have a large pickup order ahead of us, so that may have affected wait time. I ordered the seasonal drink and it didn't taste like peppermint at all, I went back up to tell him and he said it was very subtle. I could not taste it at all. My friend had the same drink and could taste it, she said it was faint but there. Not in mine. I don't have covid, I can taste everything else just fine! Coffee is very smooth, has a great taste and isn't bitter at all. Pastries are very tasty (muffins are so good, usually muffins are too sweet but they're muffins have a great balance of sweetness).
