I went back to PV twice and they suggested returning to Modern Focus as the lenses matched the script. The Dr at MF said my vision changed and gave me less of a correction. I feel her 11/25 script was inaccurate but she said no and charge me $60 for the new one because I didn't buy glasses there. What a rip off! PV is making my new lenses for free. Now that's good customer service. Oh, and I was the doctor's first appt of the day and she arrived 15 minutes late to work. Like my time isn't worth anything? Needless to say, I canceled my next exam. I went to Dr Gould for years and always received excellent care and customer service. MF could use a little training on both areas.

I was referred because of the last open ulcer to Family Foot and Ankle Specialists for wound care, and Dr Riera was able to see the bone protrusion that others had missed/overlooked as the cause. After an out patient one day operation, the speed of my healing was so rapid compared with my history of other attempts proved to me that it was obviously the cause of my troubles. I cannot stress strongly enough that if you are not getting the results you expect from your doctor(s) to get a second opinion from Family Foot and Ankle Specialists.

My husband was severely ill, actively vomiting, dehydrated, losing weight rapidly, and clearly in distress. We spent over 8 hours in the waiting room and a total of 13 hours in the ED with very little communication, compassion, or meaningful resolution. What was most upsetting was not just the wait time, but the lack of empathy and attentiveness from staff throughout the experience. At one point, I overheard a nurse openly and loudly sharing negative opinions about patients within earshot of others. It was incredibly unprofessional and disheartening, especially in an environment where people are scared, vulnerable, and seeking help. What stood out the most was that several people in the waiting room showed more concern for my husband's condition than many of the medical professionals caring for him. Complete strangers checked on him, offered kind words, and showed more humanity than what we experienced from parts of the staff. The lack of communication among staff, the apparent neglect, and the absence of urgency for someone clearly struggling was alarming. I understand emergency departments are busy and healthcare workers are under pressure, but basic compassion, communication, and dignity should never be optional in patient care. I rarely leave reviews, but after spending decades in healthcare myself, I felt compelled to speak up. Patients deserve to feel heard, cared for, and treated like human beings, especially during medical emergencies.

I tried to explain to G Yu that my mother had an open wound on her back and was in pain; despite having arrived punctually for her scheduled appointment, she was left waiting for over an hour and was the last patient to be seen. I was attempting to kindly intercede on behalf of my mother, who suffers from dementia and cannot speak for herself. G Yu completely disregarded my concerns and in retaliation she told me not to bring my mother back again. G. Yu appears to be the person in charge of the facility--the one who initiated the despicable act of patient abandonment--since the doctor simply complied when she asked him to discharge my mother and hand over her discharge papers. They are clearly in violation of ACA and HIPAA. I would like to remind this family medicine practice that they are not in China. We are in the United States of America, and people here have the right to be treated with respect and fairly. They advertise this website that does not exist: www.advancedmedicalfootcare.org. He took x-rays, gave me a shot, sent me for physical therapy...and four months later I was no closer to a cure. I went to two other chiropractors who gave the same bursitis diagnosis and were no help. Five minutes into my session with Dr. Konecny he put his fingers on the two spots that hurt the most and told me I didn't have bursitis but PS (piriformis syndrome) and gave me three slightly different stretching exercises to do.
