Good food but the service is embarrassing I asked for 4 salsas to go the guy doing the register said we charge beyond 2 salsas I asked why wasn't that explained when purchased he said because people get mad so I said charge me for the other two then he had a fit and called me names and said I could take the food back I said sure give me my money back and left. They are clowns running this place if I was the owner I would immediately hand out pink slips for this behavior. Good authentic Mexican food. I've had my husband pick me up an order of chicken fajitas here and ate in store for the first time today. The restaurant is a decent size, we had a party of 10 and no issue seating ourselves. I'd originally ordered pozole, but they were out after I paid, so I had to change my order. No biggie, I ordered steak huarache instead. Our food was great. I was drooling over my friends nachos, and again over the chicken plate. The massive tortillas look so bubbly and tasty! The steak huarache was just what I'd expected. I took away a star only because the prices are a little steep for some Mexican. Street food at that. I live somewhat nearby and have noticed it when in this shopping center, but didn't really think about coming in til I saw more info on social media - they're currently getting extra press for their "Godzadilla" 5 pound quesadilla food challenge. I went in with my husband for breakfast burritos on a Sunday morning. We'd heard through friends that they have a great price here for a large portion size. We ended up getting two (one sausage, one ham) for $11.33 - great deal, and they were indeed huge. The order came with red and green salsa, we preferred the latter. Burritos were stuffed with egg, protein, shredded hash browns and cheese. They didn't have a ton of flavor though, so the salsa was needed. Orders were out fast, dining room is clean, and there is an attached covered patio as well. Might not return for breakfast burritos specifically, but will probably come back to try more dishes or combos over time. My first takeout order from Chabelitas was so good that it caused me to dream about going back. I love their tacos and their Birria Mulita especially. This restaurant is one of the many examples of why I love the food scene in Las Vegas. Where else can you pop into a 7-eleven only to be told that the Mexican place around the corner is open 24 hours and gas food better than Roberto's? I stopped in at around 12:30 pm and was alone in the restaurant with the one man taking the orders and making the food. He was great and made me the simple chicken, cheese, and rice burrito I was craving. The burrito was huge, especially for only $11. It made the trip 10 minutes home and remained hot and put together, and once home I started eating immediately because it smelled so amazing. The tortilla was warm and delicious and the chicken was perfectly flavored and cooked. It came with 2 different salsas which were both delicious. I might be in trouble because this place is fast, easy, cheap, and above all, has delicious food! I will definitely be back (most likely on my many late nights after work). read more

My wife and I came here to get some nachos and as soon we arrived the server and cook wich i mind you a couple of KIDS were wrestling in the kitchen they have cameras everywhere especially where the kitchen is they even saw us waiting to be served. They came out from the kitchen still tugging on each other's shoulders so we finally put our order in and they were still yanking on each other while they were cooking. Kids should not be alone running a restaurant with customers service wich i say was horrible!!! To put the cherry on top my carne asada fries were very soggy. We heard of a Godzadilla food challenge and had to try it. It's free if two people can finish it in 15 minutes. We did not attempt the challenge but just wanted to try the dish. Five layer giant quesadilla filled with different meats in every layer. It costs $60 pre tax and is SO worth it. It was delicious. It came with a few different sauces, including a yummy birria consomme. It wasn't dry at all despite its size and topped with sour cream, lettuce, pico, cotija and avocado. Three of us only conquered about half. The rest of the menu looks great too, but this was super fun for us and I recommend it to anyone who loves a good quesadilla. read more

Update #2 They have lost their collective minds. The prices of everything have gone through the roof compared to Durango Tacos just up the street. Durango is slow, but the food is better, more things included (like sauce for Birria tacos) and far less expensive. At least 1/3 cheaper. For example. I only put maybe for the recommendation of this establishment because it is the only Mexican food restaurant opened after 10 PM in the area. We have been here five times in the past year because it was the only place open besides McDonald's. Every time we have ordered the food the man behind the counter is rude and has no patience with the customers. He seems bothered when you go in because he has to work. The price charged is always higher than the menu price and when we ask why, he says he doesn't understand what we're asking because of the language barrier. The food is decent. It's a family owned business and just the service itself is wonderful! The mgr and the cook Richard, are so pleasant! Everything is usually extremely good, tasty, flavorful, fresh and mouth watering. The entire staff is very nice and welcoming! I always enjoy my food and walk away extremely happy. I've been going since day one and I come from Cali, where I've had fire ass Mexican and for a small mom and pop, this is killing most. I'd definitely enjoy the cebolla, cilantro and zanahorias on a self serve basis, but you can't win them all. For a small place the experience is always great and delicious. I visit them twice weekly.
