I collected today and another mechanic spotted my back to front rear breaks, and made sure I didn't leave without them fixed, free of charge. On top of that, he helped to fit a Brompton Quadlock I purchased - I felt really well looked after, and they answered any questions I had. Highly recommend visiting them for a good service!

I took my old road bike there, and explained that I was hoping to get an upgrade soon. They identified a number of problems with my current bike, and helped me prioritise which I should pay them to address, which I could fix myself and which weren't worth me sorting given that I was about to get a new bike. Very honest, and much appreciated as a woman who is often bamboozled by unnecessary bike jargon. They even tried to help me with parts for the new bike! I've returned several times, and Mark has offered me on-the-spot advice and quick fixes. I have now bought an expensive road bike and have absolutely no hesitation in taking it to Stratton Cycle. This is the first time I can say that after trying MANY bike shops in the area. The store front is very unassuming, but the service offered is second to none - I'd highly recommend for low to high end bikes!

As i left with bike the wheel was rubbing on mudguard. The Guy obviously hadn't checked it after repair. After some more work i left again and it was worse... guy said," Wheel is BUCKLED" Went home and turned bike upside down to find out exactly where rubbing was. The wheel was LOOSE! He Hadn't tightened the wheel nuts which is why it was rubbing in first place! As I use the bike to carry my child from Nursery the thought of the nuts coming off the wheel with him on it (due to the repairers forgetting) is very distressing. i immediately left message explaining what happened..(i also cut my hand having to re align the wheel) So far 2 days later an no reply. i have used this shop before and haven't had a problem. This time it was an unprofessional disaster that could've resulted in a serious accident. Obviously it was an oversight but i am very unhappy that no one has contacted me with an apology.

Well I was lucky enough to get a puncture right by Cavendish Cycles and popped in to get a new…read moretire. I had actually been meaning to go there for a while and have a look at what they stocked but hadn't had an excuse to do so. First, absolutely great service. Really spot on, friendly, knowledgable, helpful, above and beyond the call of service and far beyond the cost of an inner tube. Second, a good selection of bikes and other all the other stuff. Three, they were putting together a custom build which I got to have a look at and I was really impressed. They had sourced an unusual frame, got it custom sprayed, imported Paul Comp hubs and had put together an understated stonker of a bike. I will get punctures by here more often.

I went to the Fitzrovia Bicycle shop and I only had a bolt to be screwed in on my gear box at the…read moretyre, which my son unscrewed in order to pull the chain and tyre and then could screw it back into place. There were three men in the shop, one was on the phone, one was a costumers and the other one answered me and said the job needed 6 hours and I needed to leave the bike and pick it up later in the day around 5pm or the next day at lunch. I told him that I didn't want my gear box to be changed as it was working perfectly, all it needed was the right tools for the bolt to be screwed into place. I was willing to pay any price to fix the screw into place but he refused to do the job in front of me and wouldn't give me a reason why he wouldn't do it, telling me it would take him 6 hours. I took my bike to another shop and the sales assistant at Evans Cycles in Camden Town told me that the previous guy probably just wanted to charge me more and just remove the gear box and change the gear box entirely. I wouldn't recommend Fitzrovia Bicycles as for anyone to go there to repair their bikes or buy one. There is really bad customer service as the guy shouted at me and made me feel really uncomfortable. I would never go there or recommend it. Mrs Thomson

I was so impressed I started doing my servicing with them and they do a real quality job in a professional and timely manner. I even bought my newest bike from them and it was a bargain! The guys are knowledgeable and you can ask for their true opinion. They won't try to "sell you a solution" just give you true advise ...

I was knocked off my push bike at the beginning of August as as well as breaking my shoulder (for the second time), ended up with a lot of damage to my road bike. Anyway, dropped the bike into here to get repaired and despite the fact that the bike wasn't bought here they gave it first class attention. Ordered in parts where necessary and fixed it too look almost new.

A quick response and a very friendly mail later they shipped a frame all went well. During the next year I have had several support question as the full-Suspension was new territory to me. but every time they where quick to respond and very informative. Right now I have the Suspension in for a Full-Service and with the help I received and the knowledge Bromley has displayed in the field of Mountain Bikes it was a easy choice to send the Suspension to them and let them handle the service. I have had Email correspondence with a person named Adam so if the rest of the staff is anything like him then you are in good hands Cheers and keep pedaling
