    Pistachio baba and Nutella graffa
    Erin O.

I really enjoyed the graffa here! The pastry itself was very warm and fresh, and the staff loaded it with Nutella on top. I also tried the pistachio baba which was good, but had a bit too much rum soaked in it. We visited in the afternoon on a Saturday so it was very busy and crowded, to be expected, but we were still served quickly and ate our food in the limited standing seats inside the building. The building is also conveniently located in the Quartieri Spagnoli neighborhood of Naples, making it very easy to access.

Beware!!! The guy in blue shirt operating the cashier snached cash from my wife's hand and then claims he took 15 Eu instead of the 30 Eu he actually took. Claims theres cameras and he didn't do that but its BS. We know exactly how much cash we were handing over. If we had more time, definitely would contact local police. Scammers are everwhere, even at places you might not expect to get scammed.

Cool spot outside by the marina -- stopped by for gelato after dinner. You order inside then take your receipt to the gelato section. There is no seating indoors or outdoors. Very tasty gelato and recommend if you're in the area!

The gelato treat was great! The service was ok. It wasn't very packed when we arrived so we went up to the Gelato counter and asked for a CONoGRAFFA. We were told to go inside and get a receipt and bring it back to place the order. We head inside and place our order and pay. Once we did that we went back to the Gelato counter and he then tells us "No we don't take the tickets here." Even though he we observed him take someone else's ticket (receipt). We approached again with our ticket and he then took it. I don't know why he refused it the first time but whatever, we received our gelato.

The best graffa in Naples!! Our tour guide brought my friends and I here for graffa and espresso, which was excellent. The graffa reminded me of a beignet, only better. It was served hot, right after they sugared it. It's coated with sugar, which is always a plus. I think graffa may be best with some hot chocolate. The espresso was okay. I'm not a coffee person but I had to try it. Our guide said that the espresso here was the best. I could tell because it seemed like half of the city was there. Overall, if you want an authentic experience, go to Chalet Ciro and get graffa or conagraffa, which is excellent.

    Sfogliatelle pistachio

Best sfogliatelle riccia pistachio you will ever have in your life! And don't get me started on the baba, it was the absolute BEST I've ever had in my life. I went to Sfogliatelle Mary for their sfogliatelle but those were nothing compared to the ones at Ciro. Still dreaming about these pastries 10 minutes after finishing them in two big gulps. Soooo good and if only I had gotten more.

Our tour guide stopped us by here for what he referred to as a typical Napoli sweet...it was DELICIOUS!!!! We ordered the Cono Graffa and it was like a donut in the shape of an ice cream cone with gelato stuffed inside and topped with cream and chocolate candy pieces!!! Yummy!! If I could I would go back everyday.

very good and they are very fast!! they have a variety of types and all are made fresh constantly all day. you can watch them make the donuts themselves and your order.

Fruit plate, banana split, fresh orange juice and the spritz (their special drink).

Great spot for desserts & to relax by the water. Parking can be hard, especially on Sunday! So try to get down here as early as you can and enjoy the atmosphere. They have a tent for nonsmokers and plenty of shaded tables for smokers.

Best gelato and sweets in Naples, accompanied by an amazing ocean-side, picturesque view.

The beautifully preserved interior, with its marble, chandeliers, frescoes, and ornate details, is reason enough to stop in. We visited later in the evening and were pleasantly surprised to find no line or wait. It was a bit confusing at first. There's a few different areas to order and a separate line/section if you want to dine-in. We dined in and got seated at a table right away, but I imagine it's much busier during the day/peak hours. Though there is plenty of seating inside and outside. We ordered a variety of pastries, including the maritozzo con la panna, a sampler platter, sfogliatella, and the famous Delizia al Limone. The Delizia al Limone was what I ordered and was light, fresh, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The lemon flavor was perfect and I was perfectly happy with my choice. The menu also includes coffee, espresso, cocktails, sandwiches, and other light bites. What impressed me most was how affordable everything was, especially considering the stunning setting and the café's reputation. I am from Hawaii though where everything is twice the price, so that may be subjective. While takeout is available, I'd recommend dining inside if you have the time. The atmosphere is part of the experience, and it's worth slowing down to appreciate the history and beautiful art inside their historic walls. Gran Caffè Gambrinus is absolutely worth adding to your Naples itinerary. Between the rich history, beautiful interiors, delicious pastries, and surprisingly reasonable prices, it's easy to see why it has remained one of Naples' most beloved institutions for well over a century.
