Beautiful place! We arrived later than planned and the owners were very sweet upon check in. We had the family style dinner and it did not disappoint. Soup as a starter and a delicious pork dinner with potatoes and perfectly cooked green beans. The dessert and coffee that followed were also wonderful. Being away from home I always enjoy properties having animals and we were greeted at the of the meal by the family dog and also the cats stopped by for a quick hello. The room is comfortable and offers a nice sized shower and separate large bathtub. We have not enjoyed breakfast yet but I'm sure it will not disappoint. We are already making plans to return next fall when we are in the area again. read more

History
Established in 2010.
We are Therese and Pieter, owners of Chalet Solneige. When we turned fourty five we decided that, however much we enjoyed our work at the time, we also wanted to do other things in life. After some years of searching intensively we found our home in Vaujany: a place where we can put into practice what we want to do, which is to have people enjoy themselves in our own chambres d'hotes. We are proud to run this business already so many years, and have welcomed so many interesting and lovely guests.
Meet the Business Owner: Tjerese G.
We are Therese Gasser and Pieter Janse and we have been the owners of Chalet Solneige since 2010. Together with Golden Retriever Yara and the cats Genepi and Snoes we will give you a warm welcome. You can be assured that we will do our utmost to make your holiday in this wonderful spot a time to remember. Therese has the Swiss nationality and has worked in the Netherlands for a long time as a civil servant and a managing director. Pieter is Dutch and has many years of experience as a consultant in the field of environment, infrastructure and transport. We both speak English, French, Dutch and German.
