We had such a terrible experience with David and Barbara that it makes me want to cry - there's…read morenothing else I can do at this point. We feel completely robbed. I have to assume all the good reviews were from when their worker, Chris, still worked for them. He quit right before our project started. Instead of them letting us know that before they got started to give us a chance to cancel, they decided to proceed with the project on their own. It'd be fine if they knew what they were doing, but every step of the process they struggled and would tell us "we don't know how to do this" or "it's been years since we've done that". We hired them to replace our cabinet door and drawer faces, including painting them and the cabinet boxes. The process was said to take 4 days and it took 4 weeks before we finally told them we couldn't have them continue - they were getting no where with adjustments because they didn't know what they were doing. It didn't help that David sat on our chair and watched tv shows on his phone for the majority of his time there (poor Barbara). When we all agreed that they wouldn't come back, they adjusted our bill down by $980 based on the fact that we'd still have to get the doors and drawers adjusted to line up. Had we known all of the other issues that were involved upfront, we would have demanded a bigger adjustment to our bill. We paid them $10k when it was all said and done and they not only left us with doors and drawers not lined up (which we knew was an issue), but we realized after we paid that they also left the following: 4 drawers were butchered - they tried cutting the sides down with a saw to make them fit so they do not sit/slide right, all drawers need slides added, all pulls were installed crooked (and they had a template!!!), the wood is still showing through the paint on the majority of our doors, hinges are falling out because they used the incorrect screws, they left all the tape that lined our ceiling up so when we removed it, it took the ceiling paint with it. We are still working through this mess so I'm sure more issues will come up, but I wanted to get this review out before someone else got robbed like we did.
